Dust said surprised when he saw Axel arrive, especially late. He took off his headphones and looked at her blankly for a moment.Axel gave him a slight smile before coming towards him.

"Hello Dust!
— Good morning. . .?
— Are you ready for the start of your internship?
— Um yes. . .?
— A little more enthusiasm! A hero must know what he wants and be sure of himself! "

Dust wasn't sure how to react to all of this, being visibly lost. He got up from the seat so as not to appear rude.

"We're going to start simple for the first day, you're going to accompany me on patrol
— All right. . "

Dust responded mechanically, without showing the slightest enthusiasm about the activities to come during the internship. This disappointed Axel a little, who expected more from him. But she was ready to show him everything and set him straight. She asked him to go put on his hero outfit, and they left together to start the patrol.

The weather was nice, and many people were outside enjoying the sunshine walking and walking around town. Axel was walking through the streets, accompanied by Dust, who had his head elsewhere, looking towards the sky. Axel gave him a light tap on the shoulder to bring him out of his dreams.

"You have to stay focused and alert, you can spend your time daydreaming...
— Sorry. . .
— How many hours do you sleep per night? You look like a zombie!
— Um... I don't know, I don't count my hours"

Axel sighed in response. She and her intern had been walking for a few minutes when they were stopped.

"Hey! Aren't you a student of Yuei? I think I saw you at the Championship!
— Yes, indeed, I am a student there
— I was sure of it! You looked like a fury during the fights, but in the end, you suddenly collapsed, no one expected that!
Dust only let out a soft 'mh' in response, as the person continued.Say, do you give autographs? Or photos?
— I guess yes. . . The situation made Dust slightly uncomfortable, not knowing how to interact with this person, or how to react.
— Great! "

The person and Dust took a photo together. Feeling a little more comfortable, Dust figured it would be better to strike a pose rather than stand straight as a rod. He did something that suited him and let the person walk away, happy with their photo.

Axel then congratulated him for doing well with the person, telling him that interacting with the public was an important thing. Dust nodded slowly. In the (single) conversation, Axel then tells him essential information. The internship wasn't going to be just that. She explained to him that she had planned physical exercises to follow, after all, it was indispensable to maintain their body.

Axel's routine didn't seem too complicated to follow, and it suited Dust well. However, he kindly told her that he was already doing exercises like this (not to mention that they were more strenuous). She was slightly surprised, but slowly smiled, telling him that this was an excellent thing.

They continued their day walking quietly, talking and yet remaining alert for the slightest attack or suspicious thing.Their day then ends, and Dust returns to his hotel room to change and put down some things. He put on a comfortable outfit for a run and quickly went out.The sun was setting over Hosu, while most people were heading home, Dust was out running towards the park. He wore his headphones, listening to motivating music in an effort to boost himself and perform better.

He ran quite fast, although it tired him immensely. For him, stopping was out of the question, even if the training became intensive, he didn't care.

After about an hour of running, he stopped and finally returned to the hotel. Night had finally fallen, and he took advantage of this moment to observe the sky, dotted with stars. He entered the hotel and went up to his room, without meeting anyone. He left the motivating music and started doing muscles training exercises, running wasn't enough, and he had to mobilize his whole body.

He did this for approximately an hour and a half, almost two hours. At the end of his last push-up, he collapsed to the ground, staring at the ceiling and catching his breath. He put his arm over his eyes, hiding from the light. It must have been approximately 10:00 or 11:00 p.m., Dust took his phone to check. He had practiced for much longer than he thought, it was actually 11:32 p.m. He sighed loudly, putting his phone down and lying back down on the floor, still staring at the ceiling.

He began to think about yesterday's conversation with his friend Andreas. What must she be thinking now? He hoped that at least she wouldn't be overwhelmed with thoughts that might compromise her internship. He sighed once again, hoping for the best.

He came straight out of his thoughts when he heard his phone vibrate. A call ? But who could have called so late in the evening? The young man got up with difficulty, walking slowly in the direction of the vibration and finally took his phone. It was Viktor.

"Halo? Why are you calling me...? Is everything okay? There's a problem in the b-Dust seemed to panic by this call, not understanding the reason for it. But Viktor cut him off to reassure him.

— Everything is fine, don't worry. I'm not calling you on this.
— What's going on then? Dust had calmed down, now being intrigued.
— Your internship is going well in Hosu, isn't it?
— Um, yes, yes. . . That's it, why?

— Be careful.Dust was surprised by this sudden sentence, said in a rather dry and direct tone.
— For what...? What is happening? Viktor, please explain to me. . .
— Have you heard of Stain? The hero killer?
— Yes, I heard about him. . .

— Well, he's in Hosu. So please take care of yourself and don't do anything reckless. All right ?
— All right. . . If there is a problem, I will call you anyway
— Thanks Dust. . . I'll get back to you, I'm not very available lately
— It doesn't matter. . . Thank you for letting me know.
— It's quite normal. Be well. "

After that last sentence, Viktor hung up as Dust gently lowered his phone from his ear. His eyes were clouded with tears that he was holding back from falling. It had been a while since he had seen Viktor, and he missed him greatly. He muttered to himself.

"I love you Viktor..."

This whisper was warm and soft, coming straight from a sincere feeling. When Dust said it, a tear flowed at the same time, falling from his eye already wet with feelings and absence.

He put down his phone. He didn't even bother changing as he went straight to bed, once again, his mind filled with thoughts.Dust fell asleep like this, hugging a pillow tightly, as if it were a person he loved.
