Family Matters

The next day when I took Sean home with daddy's permission I had even more questions that I wanted to ask before I was stunned by his smile yesterday.
"Sean how is your father?"
"Nonexistent"
"I mean everyone has a father, how could he possibly not exist"
"Maybe because I haven't seen him since I was 4 years old"
I was appalled by the fact of how long Sean's father had been absent from his life and it made me Linda question what my life would be like if my father was anything of that sort of man
"What about your mother?"
He didn't answer me but I wanted to know so I asked him again
"Oh I'm sorry I didn't hear you and to really be honest Nick I'd rather not talk about her"
"Okay"
I didn't understand why he didn't want to talk about her but I decided to give Sean some space since he seemed somewhat uncomfortable after he told me about his father so for the rest of the ride it remained fairly quiet and when we arrived at his house we share the regular hi and bye and I watched him walk in his house then a very tall bald headed,and curvy woman came outside and uttered something to me that I couldn't even hear since she awoke me from my reverie of Sean again
"What's that manm"
"Come in for a second"
I went into the fairly small home and along the walls I seen pictures of Sean and a younger girl and boy then I seen a picture of a beautiful woman however she looked nothing like the woman I was walking with Then Sean asked me to come upstairs with him and of course I went with the sinister thought of Sean taking me right there however he pulled me out onto the roof
"Wow Sean it's beautiful up here"
"Yeah it's what keeps me sane in this neighborhood"
We sat there and stared at the stars for a few minutes and then Sean blew my mind
"Sean I want to ask you something"
Before I could ask him he told me everything I was going to ask about
"Nick there's something I need to tell you"
"Okay what is it?"
"Well I haven't seen my father since I was 4 because he walked out on my siblings,me and my mother, the two kids you seen in those pictures were the kids and the woman in the picture you seen was my real mother and siblings but I lost them to a drive by shooting, the woman downstairs is my aunt, she took me in after my mom died and she's bald because she has Cancer"
When he finished talking I found myself in complete tears but I had to ask one more question
"How'd you survive the shooting"
"I was in the house so fortunately I only busted an eardrum"
I was still in tears but like the gentleman he was, Sean wiped my tears away and afterwards I found myself in his arms watching the stars
"Sean I have to go"
"Okay see you tomorrow for study hall"
"Definitely"
I got back into my car And drove back home and being that I was very emotional from knowing about Sean's family I couldn't wait to see mine. I walked into the house and seen my 12 year old sister Meagan, who looked just like our mom
"Does daddy know you were out this late?"
"I love you so much little sister"
I scooped her into a hug while I wallowed in my tears
"I love you too but you suffocating me"
"Oh sorry, what time is it?"
"It's midnight"
I looked up and seen my father sleeping in his office and was touched by his presence
"Okay Meagan go on to bed I'm going to drive you to school tomorrow okay"
"Okay"
Before she went up to bed she wipe my tears, told me to stop crying, gave me a goodnight kiss, And said she loved me. I went into my father's office and awoke him
"Daddy time for bed"
"Okay what are you doing up"
"Later and thanks for being here"
He looked at me with the oddest look on his face but we both went up to our rooms and I soon found myself dreaming ABOUT SEAN AGAIN!!
