Hiccup

I blushed and smiled, groggily waking up as I slowly stood, shaking off the sleepiness, and realized two very real concerns.

1. Toothless was gone.
2. I was alone and in labor.

Blushing and panicking, I shrieked as I had a particularly painful contraction.

Toothless

I froze as I heard my mate screaming in agony and roared as I took off running. I growled, "I swear if someone's hurt you, they're as good as dead." I froze as I arrived at my nest and saw the hatchery matron standing guard at the entrance. I growled and said, "Stand aside. If you bar me from my mate, I won't spare you." I froze as I heard my mate say, "Stay there, Toothless." I frowned and said, "Are you okay?" She smiled and said, "Yes, the nannies are taking care of me." I smiled as I relaxed and said, "I will wait here for you." I smiled and sat down and waited for my mate to finish delivery. I blushed as I heard my mate say, "Let him in." I smiled as the matron stepped away and walked in to see your eggs resting in a nest while my mate lay recovering. I smiled as I walked over and sniffed the eggs before purring, then turned to my mate and licked her cheek and lay down beside her, falling asleep. I smiled as we woke up after a two hour Nap and smiled as I sang
"You Are So Beautiful"
