Aslan was right when he said to use my instincts. I can't really explain it, it was just this feeling that I was going the right way. By the time it was dark I came upon a clearing with Narnians who didn't look very happy and in the middle of the clearing was a guy maybe a year older than I was. He had shoulder length dark brown almost black hair, tan skin and he was quite attractive if I do say so myself. This must be Caspian I thought. As I neared the clearing one of the minataurs sniffed and exclaimed

"Human!"

"Telmarines?" A dwarf asked

"Is it him?" A badger asked pointing at Caspian

"No" the minataur replied "I think it's female"

"Find her!" Several Narnians shouted out

Before long a mouse with a feather behind his ear managed to find me. I had hidden in the undergrowth.

"I have found the human female!" The mouse exclaimed

I was pushed to the center of the circle with Caspian.

"Who are you?" Caspian asked curiously getting the attention of the other Narnians

"Princess Amber, cousin of the Kings and queens of old I came here with them when you blew queen Susan's horn." I replied keeping the name "princess" that Lucy had given me

That seemed to silent everybody.

"The horn worked"

"All this horn proves is just another thing the telmarines have stolen from us!" A dwarf spat

"I didn't steal anything." Caspian told the dwarf

"Our homes!"

"Our lands!"

"Our freedom!"

"Our Lives!"

"You would hold him accountable for the crimes that his people did?" I asked in shock

"Accountable and punishable" said a dwarf

"Ha that's rich coming from you dwarf! Or have you forgotten that it was your people who fought alongside the White Witch." The mouse from earlier said

"And I'd gladly do it again if it would rid us of these barbarians!"

"Then it is lucky that it is not in your power to bring her back or are you suggesting that we ask this boy to go against Aslan now?" A wise looking badger said

"Some of you may have forgotten but we badgers remember well that Narnia was never right except when a son of Adam was king." The badger continued

"He's a telmarine!" Why would we want him as our king?!" The dwarf said

"Because I can help you" Caspian said

"He's right" I said speaking up again quieting the Narnians

"Beyond these woods I am a prince the telmarine throne is rightfully mine help me claim it and I can bring peace between us." Caspian said

"It is true" a centaur said "I watch the skies for it is mine to watch as yours to remember the lord of victory and the lady of peace have come together in the high heavens, now here a son of Adam has come forth to offer us back our freedom."

"Is this possible, do you really think there could be peace? Do you, I mean really?" Asked an excited squirrel as he said that all rather fast

"Two days ago I didn't believe in the existence of talking animals or dwarves or centaurs and here you are in strength and numbers that we telmarines could never have imagined if this horn is magic or not it brought us together and together we have a chance to take back what is ours." Caspian said

"If you will lead us than my sons and I offer you our swords."

The centaur said while grabbing his sword from his sheath while the rest of the centaurs did the same.

"And we offer you our lives unreservedly." The mouse said

"I'm with you too" I spoke up

Caspian gave me a grateful smile. While the badger began to talk again.

"Miraz's army will not be far behind us."

"If we are to be ready for them we need to hurry to find supplies and weapons, I'm sure they will be here soon." Caspian said

"They will be they are about 2 days behind us." I said to them all

Later on we went to one of the telmarine camps to steal weapons. We were quick and quiet at first but than we got noticed by a few soldiers. Quickly they were killed and we were about to leave when I spotted Caspian over by one of the wagons scratching something into the cart.

"Come on Caspian we need to go now!" I said urgently as we were being noticed by more soldiers

"Coming" he answered as he grabbed my hand as we ran to catch up with the rest of the Narnians

I couldn't help the blush that crept up on my cheeks or the tingling on my hand or the butterfly's in my stomach when he touched me.

We had successfully taken many weapons and none had been killed things were looking good for us so far. Once we got back to the Narnians I noticed how some of them were snickering at Caspian and I. Looking down I realized that we were still holding hands. I blushed even harder causing Caspian to chuckle. I quickly let go of his hand and looked down trying to hide my blushing face. I walked over to a log and sat down. I looked over as Caspian sat down next to me. We began talking and before I knew it I felt like I had known him for years. He told me about how his professor had saved him from being killed the night his aunt gave birth to a son, and how he hoped that he was ok. I told him all about my life about how my little brother was rude and selfish but I still loved him and how my mom and dad never really paid much attention to me I felt like they always had valued Eustace over me. Just thinking about the memories brought tears to my eyes. I felt Caspian's arm snake around my waist pulling me into his chest. We stayed like that for the rest of the night.
