I sat in the passenger seat of my brother's car, still feeling the effects of the drinks from the bar. My head was spinning and I couldn't shake off the strange encounter with the tall woman I had bumped into while ago. Her words echoed in my mind, but the meaning behind them remained elusive. Who was she, and what did she mean by "dead to me"?
"Are you okay, Mandi?" my brother asked, concern evident in his voice as he glanced at me from the mirror of the car and at the corner of his eye.
"I'm fine, Jay" I replied, trying to sound more composed than I felt. "Just a little dizzy from the drinks." And he just nodded as an answer.
Nakarating na kami sa bahay and I saw my little sister crying and I don't know why she is crying minsan lang kasi sya naiyak pag may nangyari sa kanya habang tulog nakita ko naman si mom and dad na nasa gilid na para pinapatahan na si luna .
"Hi mom and dad, and jacey why are you crying?" I said at bigla sila napatingi sa akin na para. nagulat dahil nandito na agad ako.
"Yow nagdradrama ka na naman luna kanina di ka naiyak then ngayon naiyak ka na, what happen hm?" jay ask so di sya naiyak kanina bakit kaya.
"Oh, hi there sweetie, kanina pa ba kayo dyan" Mom said, she's is so caring that you can't even imagine that because like you can be true like she's so good to be true dad is so lucky to have her.
"No mom, kakarating lang po namin, and jacey why are crying? did something happen to you?" I ask her again di kasi nagrereply si jacey, kahit kaya naman nito magsalita.
"I had just dream sissy and is so scary" luna said kaya pala naiyak ang bata toh.
"What? You just had a dream and your crying because of it? What did i say to you about that? Diba i said sayo na wala nakakatakot sa world kasi you have us" I said to jacey and i saw her na unti nalang tatahanan na and nag smile sakin
"I'm sorry sissy, I forgot about it" she said and i just nodded and smile. But i have an idea cross my mind.
"Oh you litte child how about this you can come to me and we can sleep together in my bed if you want lang naman" I said and she laughed about it, as you can see naman i'm so mabait talaga diba?
"I want it I will sleep with your bed today, thankyou sissy" luna said at sumunod na sakin at nagpalam na kina mom pumunta na din sila sa kanila room eto naman si luna sobrang sayang bata.
Eto si luna nanood sa ipad nya, lakas nito bata toh dipa rin natutulog ako na antok na antok na masaya naman na sya ngayon, bawal naman na matulog ako na gising sya baka umiyak na naman iyakin ang beshy nyo
"Jacey, can we sleep na?, I'm tired na baby" I said na may antok ang aking boses nakita ko naman nag bago yun mukha nya na para ba naawan sakin ang bata.
"Sure sissy, hug me tight sissy ha" Jacey said and I just nodded an answer and she put the ipad beside the bed and we closed our eyes to sleep na, yes buti naman makakatulog na ang anteh nyo pagod na pagod na.
FAST FORWARD
Nagising ako dahil ang ingay sa baba ng bahay namin rinig na rinig mo ang paguusap nila yes po malakas ang boses nina jay, dad, lalo na si jacey si mom naman msarap pakinga ang kanya boses nakakaantok na mahinhi lang kasi yun boses ni mom ewan sakanila bat ang lalakas HAHAHAHA stop na yan, nag skincare muna ako bago bumaba ng bahay at nakita ko si mom tahimik lang habang pinapanood ang kanya pamilya na masaya na maingay kumakain.
"Hi, Goodmorning madlang people" I said at nagtingina sila saakin na kala mo ano artista ako.
"Good Morning sissy, i sleep well last night thanks to you" Jacey said napangitin naman ang anteh nyo.
"Morning Mandi" Jay said na halata stress, if tinatanong nyo ko may jowa na si jay well ask him not me.
"Morning darling" dad said and I smiled
"dad wala po kayo pasok ngayon?" I said kasi dapat nasa trabahon na sya ngayon
"Well I'm on my off, i'm their boss naman" dad said yup we own a company we're not that kind of rich na bad person, pinalaki kami na dapat itreat ang tao na magkakatulad kahit sa gender wala naman kasi sa kanila na iba kung ano meron ang girls or boys ay meron din sila.
"Morning my sweet darling, How was your sleep?" Mom said habang nakangitin she so pretty na talaga.
"Good mom, but i was awaked because of loudly voices" I said na habang natawa, napatawa rin naman si mom
"kumain kana, baka may pupuntahan ka pa" she said and i nodded.
By the way, kung tinatanong nyo ko ano nangyare dun sa bar well I bumped to someone tall than me but i don't know if it was a girl or boy because her voice is so irritating that time so I don't know his/her gender but it's doesn't matter to me na diko sya makikita ulit at yun dalawa ko kaibigan diko pinapansin pano ba naman iniwan ako mag isa sa bar at eto pa si emily may naka one night stand daw sya di daw nya alam kung babae ba or lalaki bahala sya dun diko na yun problema. Di naman kami homophobic actually we supported nya ang lgbtq+ kaya wala kami problem about dyan if kung ano naka one night stand nya so we're good about that.
Here ako ngayon sa supermarket kasama sina mom at jacey well may bibilin kasi kami need namin ito sa kitchen. Pumunta ako sa gummy section tas sina mom umalis na may pupuntahan daw sila na iba section, madami tao ngayon dito sa supermarket baka dahil sunday ngayon may kinuha ako isa gummy bear at binayara na sa cashier, Naglalakad ako ng I bumped to someone na kaamoy din noh girl or boy sa bar dahil same na same ang scent nila mga madam na naman halata ang reckless ng anteh nyo, sino kaya ito sana hindi sya.
"Shit, you again?" The girl said yes sya na naman po yun na bumped ko yun nakita ko sa bar meant to be na kaya to?, halata stress na ang anteh i wonder what's her name kaya "You really not gonna answer me, hm" the girl said oh my god tama na ang pagiisip ng kung ano ano.
"Omg, I'm a really sorry, I didn't see you coming" I said totoo naman kasi diko sya nakita dumaan.
"Arghhh, I will not punish you today... but just wait" the girl said umalis na sya hindi ko manlang natanong name ni madam, yes po babae po sya.. buti nalang di lalaki yoko nun. Charizz.
"Sweeties" pagtawag sakin ni mom..yes po hinahanap ko sila nandun lang pala sa cashier.
"Mom didn't you not forget anything" I said kahit puno puno na yun cart namin.
"No sweeties all set, and complete na din lahat lahat" Mom said na confident.
"Hi sissy, san ka galing?" Jacey said.
"May pinuntahan lang na ibang section" i said and just that she nodded an answer to me and smile.
"Sissy, do you see that tall woman?" Jacey said and point at the woman. And my jaw literally drop about the woman she's talking is the woman I bump into, don't tell me she know that woman.
"Yes I see her, why? Do you know her jacey?" I said to her and I feel like she's thinking about someting.
"No I don't know her, she just keep looking at you maybe because you're beautifull. Let's just forget her sissy let's go to Jollibee na" Jacey said, ha? She keep looking at me why? Do she want to kill me because of what I did, yeah let's just forget her and clear my mind. My mom is done paying the thing that we brought. Katulad nito so we brought a pandensal and *hinapas* aray ko, Oo nagbili po kami ng kopiko brown tapos ano milo tapos ano ng donut po kami ni jacey. Yan gusto mo *tinarayan*, jacey scene ang arte mo kaya *tumawa*
"Okay, Mom i will call kuya driver to pick the food and let's go to Jollibee" I said kay mom and she's nod as an answer. We arrived at the Jollibee and order and eat na. Syempre kakain ano gusto nyo picturan lang namin toh? AHAHAHAH, Charotttt.
