Rubble stood there, still under the table, frozen in fear as she saw the woman who already spotted her. Despite the woman looking nice, Rubble was still quite afraid.

"It's okay... I won't hurt you," the woman said, as she tried to comfort the bulldog, "Come here!"

Rubble began to feel less afraid. He slowly crept out of his hiding place.

"There you go. I'm not really scary, right?" she asked.

"Uhm... Not really," Rubble replied with a soft voice.

"I'm Mrs. Bennett. What's yours?" she introduced herself.

"You can call me Rubble," Rubble answered with a smile.

"It suits you, so cute!" Mrs. Bennett smiled as she patted Rubble's head.

Ryder, Carlos, and the pups decided to go find Rubble. They had no idea that Mrs. Bennet was back. Since they all knew that Rubble was headed to the kitchen earlier, they decided to go look for him there. But the moment they reached the kitchen, they stopped on their feet.

"Oh, eh... Mom, I didn't know you were here already. You should've told me, and I would've helped you out by bringing some of your stuff," Carlos told her, surprisingly.

The pups knew exactly who was in front of them so they hid behind Ryder and Carlos, shivering in fear.

"Oh, it's okay, Son. It wasn't that much stuff to bring. Anyway, is your stepfather here yet?" Mrs. Bennett answered.

"Nope, but my visitors are here," Carlos said, as he tried to introduce his friends to his mom, "This is Ryder and his pups, Chase, Marshall, Zuma, Rocky, and Skye."

"Oh, nice to meet you! I've heard all about you. Carlos told me a lot about you all," Mrs. Bennett said.

"Hi!" all the pups greeted from behind, smiling shyly.

"Nice to meet you too, uh..."

Ryder stopped, quite unsure what to call the woman in front of him.

"Call me Mrs. Bennett," she replied with a smile.

"Nice to meet you, Mrs. Bennett," Ryder finished his sentence.

Chase wanted to show up confidently, but he couldn't help but tremble in nervousness. He hid behind Ryder as well, just like the others.

"Oh this is so very awkward," Chase mumbled.

"Who even told you to hide with us?" Marshall asked.

"I just wanted to hide too, duh!" Chase said.

"Chase, I can't believe you're such a scaredy cat too!" Skye growled.

"Excuse me? You too, you hid first!" Chase argued.

"Guys, could you not?" Rocky interrupted.

Suddenly, Skye stomped her paw on Chase, making the German Shepherd yelp.

"Ow! What was that for?!"

"Dudes, enough!" Zuma shouted.

"¡Paren ahora mismo! That's enough!" Tracker added.

"Uh, is everything alright over here?"

Everyone turned to face Ryder and Carlos, who were staring at them in confusion. They realized that Mrs. Bennett had left the kitchen already.

"¡SI! We're-"

"Yeah, we're fine! We're just talking... Yeah, talking about some stuff," Liberty cut off Tracker, covering his mouth with her paw, "Right, everyone?"
