In my dreams, you are a star. Beautiful and bright, but so far away. I reach out to touch you and, for a second, it looks like you're reaching back. But then you turn, and suddenly you're transported even farther away from my grasp. Reaching you is hopeless.
My dreams reflect reality. Just like a star, you shone from the moment I first saw you. But just as I am only a rock in space, you have never noticed me.
I spend most of my time looking at you. I wonder: how has this star, who shines so brightly and who is so different from me, attracted my attention? But when I see the longing looks that other girls give you, I understand. It was inevitable; me falling for you. As you are the one lone star who shines the brightest in the night sky, of course I am going to look.
