Chapter 15

Perrie
Jade looked so scared I'm glad I'm holding her right now-I remember when I walked into the conference room she had shot straight up and came over to me.
I sighed breathing in her familiar scent; it was comforting to know she was here with me instead of back in the UK I would have died if they attacked there and I was stuck here in New York with three more days to spend before heading back.
I let myself feel relaxed while I held her; nothing could hurt her right now and if they tried they'd have to get through me first.
"Pez?" She looked up her face somewhat brighter. "Yes love?" I asked. "We should get back." She said and I groaned.
"What?" She asked.
"But I won't be able to be close to you!" I whined. "Yes you can they'll think it's because of the incident. It'll be fine. I promise." She said and I finally decided to give in. "Fine because you're not going anywhere by yourself love." I said and she giggled taking my hand and leading me back into the conference room.
But as we got closer I pulled away-what if they forced us to break up? I couldn't do that to her and not to me either-I think I love her too much.
Jade turned to look at me with a scared look in her eyes.
"P-Perrie?" She asked.
"Jade we can't-can't you see what will happen if they find out?" I said sadly. "If they do well fuck them I don't care about what they say Perrie-I'm strong too." She said straightening up.
"But still Jade." I sighed looking away resisting grabbing her hand and holding it. "Forget it Perrie they don't control us now come on." She said taking my hand gently but firmly and leading me into the conference room. I didn't say anything and just followed her instead, secretly grinning at our fingers twined together. While we walked in hand-in-hand the managers shot us confused glances and Tulisa bit her lip.
"Maybe we should just tell them." I said in Jade's ear.
"Maybe, okay I think so." She said when all of their eyes focused on our hands; I began to pull away but Jade kept a strong grip on my hand. "Perrie let's tell them." She raised her voice so that everyone could hear her and their heads snapped up.
"Okay we have to tell you something and don't say anything until we're done-we tell our story and you wait or else no interview-I would appreciate it and this stays here-it doesn't go anywhere else." I said threateningly and we watched as they all thought about it for a moment.
Finally Kate looked at us and spoke up.
"We'll hear you two out." She said and the rest of her team nodded keeping it professional. "Right-so Perrie?" Jade said and I gave her hand a gentle squeeze which she returned. "Well first off-I love Jade." I started and they awed.
"-but not as a friend-I mean as in girlfriend. Jade is my girlfriend." I said and their faces started changing. "Yes me and Perrie are together; I don't care what anyone else in this room thinks about us but she is mine and I am hers; I love her more than I think I could love anyone she is my all." Jade said finishing her speech and my mouth dropped as she added a last part.
"I love Perrie and no one can change that." She said slowly and I stared at her in admiration. She was amazing I can't believe how strong and threatening she can be-it-it's amazing. And as she smiled into my eyes I leaned down pressing a kiss to her cheek.
"I love you Perrie." She said smiling warmly at me.
"And I love you so much Jade." I whispered and she smiled even brighter at least she knew. When we looked back some of the team was smiling at us and others were looking awkwardly at us and others were clapping-at least the majority approved. Then we turned to Tulisa who was grinning and winked at us causing both of us to blush and smile swinging our hands.
We went to the changing rooms to be prepped for the interview. Jade was sitting next to me while a stylist curled her hair and fixed a bow in her hair. I poked her bow and she laughed swatting my pink headband. "Oi!" I squealed when my headband popped off my head. "Oops!" She squeaked and I jumped up.
"Jadey! My turn!" I smirked and winked grabbing the hair dryer.
"Wait Perrie! Hey that's cheating!" She gasped grabbing a hairbrush. And I laughed evilly. "Not in Perrie's world!" I cackled and she yelled starting to chase me around my chair in circles. "Just wait till I-I uh-turn your hair into a puffball!" Jade said still chasing me and I gasped. "Fine then!" And turned around turning on the hair drier and she screeched jumping on top of me once the bow flew completely out of her hair.
Then she stuck the brush in my hair...
I screeched when I felt it being twisted around and put the drier in my girlfriend's face. "Haha! Take the wrath of the hair drier!" I screeched and Jade squealed leaning back.
"Never! You're gonna have to get through my hair brush first!" She squeaked and kept messing up my hair. "Girls!" Suddenly Jade was peeled off of me and I was lifted to my feet. Tulisa was chuckling and Kate was shaking her head with a small smile on her face. "Come on no more until the interview's over okay? Then you guys can trash the place all you want." Kate said and we nodded I grinned evilly at Jade who gave me a sly smile.
"Don't worry hon, I'll get ya back." I winked.
"Not unless I beat you to it love." Jade smirked while the stylists re-did our hair and gave us a last-minute touch-up before we went into the rec room.
"I'm so proud of you girls." Tulisa said making Jade and I smile
"You did the right thing, you go girlies!" She said and Jade grinned again taking my hand. "Glad ya think so." I said and Jade leaned up and I leaned down to kiss the beautiful little Geordie.
Tulisa cheered and we smiled pulling away from the kiss.
