Behind Closed Doors

Part One: Midnight Drop By

Buck jumps out of bed and has been waken by Eddie. Buck leans over to check the time. The clock reads 2:03 am. Eddie whispers, "I tried to stay quiet on the stairs, I...I didn't mean to wake you. I just need a place to.... stay."
Eddie begins to cry, yet he is still trying to hold it in. Buck frantically reaches for the bedside light, trying to turn it on. Eddie sides on the corner of Bucks bed on the fresh yet messy white sheets. His hands cup his face. Buck leans forward up in bed, now sitting to the left of Eddie (still crying). The bed sinks push Buck closer to Eddie. Buck wraps his arm around his skin tight red tank top and pulls him in closer to him.

Buck begins to comfort Eddie as he can only make out a few words at a time, but he begins to manage.

"Christopher... he, he is in the hosp.. *sniffles* ital."

"WHAT?!" Buck yells out, shocking Eddie at this late hour." What happened! Is he ok! Did he fall! Who's with him!?"

"Buck." Eddie says calm but put together. "He. The doctor said that he needed to stay over night do to the nightmares. You know, because of his mo...*sighs* Shannon's death. I...I just needed somewhere to stay, I'm really worried about him."

Buck, not knowing what to do or say, still processing the news, "yea of cource what ever you need, you can sleep in my bed... I'll go shopping tomorrow. I'll get whatever you want, just name it. I'll even..."

Eddie cuts him off. "You don't need to do any of that. All I need is you. Please don't leave me. "

Buck lies back down and pats the bed beside him. Eddie lies next to him, curling in a ball on the verge of a breakdown. Buck wraps the blanket around them and then wraps his arm around Eddie, hugging him close. Eddie lets his breath go, and the tears rush down his warm, blushed cheeks. He holds on to Bucks hand and squeezes it, knowing he is afraid to be this varnable around anyone else, even his own family. Eddie whispers barely load enough to hear "thank you."

(Sorry, this was the first part, and I will continue it. Let me know if I should continue. They will be longer. I wrote this in a span of like 30 minutes, hopefully the spelling, etc. Is right)
