I huffed before siting outside on a Bench infront of my school,my prom date literally is ignoring me
What was the point of asking me to go with you to prom if you gon talk to other girls or tell me to shut up and ignore me?
I looked up at the stars as I made them line up and make shapes,the cold night breeze was blowing,making my hair move freely
I closed my eyes taking in deep breathes,I opened my eyes as I looked around,my hearts dropped when I saw someone sitting next time
"Shit" I whispered clutching my chest "you good?" A deep voice,it's a boy "yeah I'm chillin" I mumbled looking back up.
"you stargazing alone?" He asked looking up too "yeah,well was." he smiled tilting his head to the side "yeah." He mumbled.I sighed
"why you out here alone tho?" He asked breaking the silence "uh,my date stood me up? Cheated? I don't know the word,he's ignoring me and talkin nd dancing with other girls" I explained looking at him.
his side profile was so pretty I can't even lie,he shook his head looking towards me causing us to make eye contact "you too pretty for someone to be doing that to you" he furrowed his brows eyeing me
I smiled slightly "thank you,but what bout you?" I returned the question "huh?" He asked looking back at me "Why are you out here without a date?" I asked again
He pursed his lips "same reason as you" he said making my brows lift up "you too?,but you look good tho" i spoke surprised
"thankyu,preciate it" He smiled showing a cute lil gap making me smile,his smile is very cute.
"Anytime" I replied looking back up watching the stars "Tú y yo nos plantaron a los dos." I twisted my lip to the side "yeah." I chuckled (you and I,we both got stood up)
I noticed him staring in the corner of my eye causing me to look back,I took in his features,he had long lashes,his eyes looked low and his brows looked really good,big two tones lips and a cut right above it,his nose was small. He had the prettiest features I've ever seen.
he seemed like he was also admiring me,good thing it's dark otherwise he would've seen my cheek heating up,I smiled turning away
"what's your name tho?"he asked curiously "kylinn,but you can call my Lin" I responded "wha bout you?" I asked him
"Kayflock but you can call me kay" I looked at him giving him a unamused smile "we both kno yo mama didn't name you kayflock" I laughed
He smiled at me shaking his head chuckling "na,it's kevin" he replied manspreading I nodded "ai kevin" I mumbled before I heard the school door opening
"Kylinn! Bro I been looking fa you" I heard brayalle yell,I huffed "that's him?" I heard Kay say lowly,I nodded turning around
"Leave me alone bruh" I rolled my eyes "who dis is?" Brayalle asked pointing at Kay as he stood up infront of us "im ha date,wsp witchu?" Kay asked standing up infront of him
I grinned at bryalles face "fuck you talkin bout? That's my date?" Bry said looking at me "na she mine,that's me ri there,Go ahead nd go back in there where ya date is at ai" Kay said lookin at bry
"mmcht,whatever,forget you kylinn!" Bry raised his voice walking back "Forget you!" I yelled back "forget you!" Bry said again "forget you!" I said before the door for the chool slammed shut,me and Kay shared a look before we laughed
"tht nga lame,fuck wit a real nigga like me ma" Kay shrugged at me "Mm damn,okey" I chuckled at him,he sat back down next to me "ain't you cold tho?" He asked wrapping a arm around me pulling me closer to him as he rubbed against my bare arm
"yea I'm kinda cold" I mumbled resting my head on his shoulder "ai I gotchu" he said before he took of his jacket and wrapping it around me, I smiled at him "thankyu Kay" I thanked him
"anytime linn"he spoke smiling down at me,I laid my head back on his shoulder as we sat in comfortable silence staring at the stars
about five minutes later we walked to a near by park,we sat on the swings as we talked and got to know each other a little more
I checked the time "it's getting kinda late,I gotta head home" I spoke Looking at him next to me on the other swing "damn frl?aight"he spoke getting off
"thankyu Kay for spending the night with me,I'm glad we talked and hung out,I like talking to you" I smiled wrapping my arms around his neck
"Well Thankyu for being by my side tonight,sucks we both got stood up or wtvr but I'm kinda glad cs I got to meet you" he wrapped his arms around my waist pulling my closer to his body.
I placed a small peck on his cheek and he gave one back on my head "Me alegro de haber conocido a mamá, te veré pronto,sí?" Kay said holding my hand "sí" I smiled showing my dimple (I'm glad we met mama,I'll see you soon,yeah?") (yeah)
He took out his phone "gimme your number,I wanna talk to you later on today" he said handing me his phone "aight" I wrote down my number and wrote my name as "lanii💙🤞🏽"
"ai thankyu ma" he smiled down at me "bye Kevin" I waved "bye lanii" he smiled as he gently let go of my hand.
The rest of that night I was thinking about him and we ended up talking on the phone,and we even fell asleep on the phone.
