Chan had always been the youngest, the maknae of Seventeen, and though he had grown into a confident and capable performer, his hyungs still treated him with the same protective care they always had.

However, recently, Seungcheol noticed a shift in Chan's demeanor.

The usually energetic and cheerful boy seemed more withdrawn, his smile not reaching his eyes as often.

One evening, after a particularly grueling rehearsal, Seungcheol found Chan sitting alone in the practice room, staring at his phone with a worried expression.

Seungcheol approached him, concern etched on his face.

"Chan-ah, what's wrong?"

Seungcheol asked gently, sitting down beside him. Chan hesitated, his fingers tightening around his phone.

"It's nothing, hyung. Just... a bit tired, I guess."

Seungcheol frowned, not convinced.

"Chan, you can tell me anything. You know that, right?"

Chan glanced at him, the worry in his eyes finally breaking through.

"Hyung, I think someone's been following me. I've been getting these weird messages, and I keep seeing the same person near the dorm and the studio."

Seungcheol's protective instincts flared up immediately.

"Why didn't you tell me sooner?"

He asked, his voice tinged with worry and a hint of anger.

"I didn't want to cause any trouble."

Chan admitted, his voice small.

Seungcheol put a reassuring hand on Chan's shoulder.

"You're not causing trouble, Chan. Your safety is more important than anything else. We'll handle this together."

From that moment on, Seungcheol was always by Chan's side.

He made sure the security around their dorm was tightened and informed their manager about the situation.

Whenever they went out, Seungcheol stayed close, his eyes constantly scanning their surroundings for any signs of the stalker.

Despite the increased security, the messages didn't stop.

One day, Chan received a particularly unsettling text that made his blood run cold.

'I know where you live. You can't hide from me.'

Seungcheol saw the fear on Chan's face as he read the message.
