Chapter 26 - To Lie or Not To Lie?

JISOO's POV

"Fuck!" I cursed the moment I opened my eyes and saw where I am.

And you know what's worse? I'm not alone in this huge bed and we're both naked.

I tried to remember what happened a while ago but I can't.

All I can remember was..

"Hey sexy." I heard a familiar voice greet me.

I froze.

"I—Irene?"

She cutely chuckled after rolling her eyes on me. She's covered by comforter but I know she's naked too.

"Did we.. Did something happened.. to us?" I shyly asked her.

She look puzzled for a second but when she realised what I'm taking about she grinned.

"When did you became this shy Kim?" She teased.

'No this can't be. What will Rosé say to me?'

I didn't speak. I don't even know what to say and maybe she noticed how serious the atmosphere already so she speak again.

She cupped my face.

"Hey! Hey! To be honest, I can't even remember what happened. I'm too wasted myself." She said honestly.

That made me worried and I'm panicking inside right now.

"But.. If you want since we're now both sober and it's still midnight, you know you can already claim that round two I promised to you." She added seductively.

In normal situation of course I'll grab this opportunity, but not now or maybe not ever.

I tensed when she scoot closer. She's now straddling my lap.

I gulped.

Even before I can't deny the charisma of this girl, maybe if I known her better before Chaeyoung I might also fall for her but now? All I can't think about is Rosé and the possibility that I might lose her because of this.

She's about to lean to capture my lips but I tilt my head.

"What's the problem?" She asked confused.

"I—I'm sorry Irene but, but I'm with Rosé now. I—I don't know if something happened to us and, and I can't take the fact that there's a possibility that I cheated on her. I—I can't lose her. I love her." I said crying. I covered my face with my both hands.

I felt that Irene tensed and she cupped my face, wiping my tears that kept pouring.

"What? You're with my cousin? But she's in a relationship right? With Chanyeol?" She asked confused.

"They broke up." I informed. "Though we're not yet announcing our relationship in public. Only one person knows about us." I added.

She looked at me intently first before getting up from my lap.

"And here I am thinking we can be more than a one night stand." She stated and dryly chuckled.

"Let's forget about it then, I'm not really sure how Chaeyoung will take this if you tell her. Not that I want you to hide it or something. It's just that.. I don't want to risk the possibility of being awkward with her. I really like you Jisoo." She confessed that made me look at her.

She's now standing near the bathroom door looking at me.

"Well.. I've been liking you since "that" night. You can't blame me. I told you not to care for me, but you continued being a gentlewoman. I guess that's really your nature. I'm sad to know that you're taken and that you're with my cousin. But nonetheless I am happy for you and Chaeyoung. She deserves to be love as much as you do. Just tell her parents as soon as possible. You know how protective they can be when it comes to their only heiress."
