Chapter Three

Justin's POV

"Welcome contestants and guests. As you know, today is the starting day of 'Canada's Got Talent!'"

The crowd started to cheer, while my stomach churned with anxiousness.

"Let's start with contestant number one!" The host said a little too perky like.

As I walked on stage, all eyes were on me and I kept mentally shouting at myself to not trip and fall in front of everyone.

"Hello." The judges greeted me in unison, smiling at me expectantly.

"Hi" I simply stated feeling as if I said anymore, I would stutter and look utterly ridiculous.

I was kinda nervous since my friends were here. I really wanted to impress them despite the fact that they would support me no matter what.

My mom is my only family here right now. She'll be recording my performance, so she can put it on the Internet for the rest of my relatives to see.

"Ok love, how about we start off with your name and your age." One of the female judges said prepared to write something on her clipboard.

"I'm Justin, and I'm twelve."

"Alright Justin, what song will you be singing today?"

"I'm gonna sing 'Burn' by Usher." I said taking a deep breathe prepping myself for what was about to go down.

"Whenever your ready." A male judge said, with a harsh looking expression on his face.

After taking a couple deep breaths, I cleared my throat and began.

  "That was an amazing performance, Justin. I'm sure your family is very proud of you!"

*Judges run through the rest of the contestants*

"Alright everyone, we're gonna take a little break so the judges can decide who the winner of the competition is. We'll be back after this."

(Five minutes later)

  'Finally' I thought mentally thanking God that the judges would announce the winner any moment now.

All four judges walked on stage, the crowd chanted and cheered as they waited just as impatiently as me, to find out who the winner was.

"Once again, good luck to all competitors you all did an amazing job. Remember, if you didn't make it this year there is always next year!" The pretty blond judge said with a big smile plastered on her face.

'Here we go' I thought as all four judges said, "And the winner of Canada's Got Talent is..."
