The gentle 'bing' of my smartphone distracted me from the many side dishes my sister was serving up. She had tried to cook, but most of the food in my fridge had run out before I did, which is why she had ordered something else.

There was everything from pizza to kimchi fried rice, but I'd lost my appetite years ago, so I reached for my smartphone and looked at the message.

It was a reminder that MunchTimeWithYeon had started a stream.

Without hesitation, I clicked on it and was surprised by the atmosphere.

The light in his study was dimmed, almost romantic, as if Yeonjun had forgotten to turn on the light. And all he had served up today was half a jar of kimchi.

He looked rather unprepared and his rapid breathing indicated that he must have been running.

Had he been in a hurry?

His face was serious, but when the many replies from his fans came in expressing how happy they were to see his stream, a cute smile appeared on his lips. The smile that made my heart pound. His voice was hoarse, as if he had a cold, and he spoke in a calm tone. Immediately it was like music to my ears and I couldn't help the corners of my mouth twitching.

"What are you looking at?" Yuna suddenly asked and a twitch ran through me.

I held the display out to her so she could see Yeonjun, even placing it on the table so we could both watch, and reached for a small slice of pizza. "A meokbang streamer. I... often watch his lives while eating because it's easier for me that way," I confessed to her, watching how surprised she was that I took a small bite. "I can't tell you why that is, but when he eats ... and when he's happy about good food, he often does these funny dances or makes some kind of faux pas. It seems to make him happy and it makes me less disgusted by the food."

It was rare that I told others about my situation. Yuna knew that I was afraid to go outside and she knew that I was not a good eater. As well as my fear of being touched by women. But for none of these things did Yuna know why that was.

I'd never told her about my blog either, because if I had, I'm sure she would have read it. "Oh, he's pretty," she said, a grin forming on her lips. Her eyes followed my movements as I carefully brought the pizza back to my mouth, took a bite and then chewed slowly. The taste spread through my mouth as Yeonjun fished out a piece of kimchi. "And if he helps you eat, all the better. Then I'm only a small part of the help."
