[Alexis]

On Monday, I heard my alarm clock go off, so I got out of bed. After that, I texted Christian to let him know I was awake. Then, I took a shower, brushed my teeth, and got dressed in my outfit for the day. I styled my hair and applied makeup, including lip gloss.

After finishing my morning routine, I grabbed my bag and phone and went downstairs for breakfast with my family. As the family enjoyed their meals, I received a text from Chris, who shared that he was on his way to pick me up for school. This was going to be my first time being seen with Christian, and I couldn't help but feel a little nervous about it.

"You ready for school?" my mom asked as I sat down to eat breakfast.

"Christian is picking me up today for school, we're going to school together today," I responded while enjoying my meal. Christian is one of the sweetest people I've ever met, and his kindness is truly endearing.

After finishing my breakfast, I saw Christian's car pulling up to the driveway. I gave my mom a quick kiss on the cheek, grabbed my bag and phone, and walked out to meet him. As I got inside the car, Christian greeted me with a smile.

"Hey, beautiful! I missed you. We should hang out later," he suggested, giving me a gentle kiss on the cheek.

"Hey, Christian, you don't look bad yourself! I don't mind hanging out later after school," I agreed, feeling a warmth in my heart as I spent time with this thoughtful and kind young man.

As we drove to school, Christian and I enjoyed listening to music, talking, and laughing together. The time passed quickly, and before we knew it, we had arrived at our destination. As the car pulled up, Christian got out to open the door for me. We both walked into the school, and I couldn't help but notice that everyone was staring at us. The attention made me feel uncomfortable, as I was just a normal girl trying to make my way through school.

Christian, sensing my unease, reassured me, "Don't worry about this attention." He then looked at me with a gentle smile and kissed me on the cheek. "I'll see you later. By the way, are you coming to the basketball game on Friday?" he asked, giving me another sweet kiss on the cheek.

"Sure, I'll be there," I replied, blushing at his kindness. Christian then handed me a note and waved goodbye as I walked away with Devon and Marcus.

"Awww, you two are so cute together," Bella exclaimed. "I can't believe you're a couple now." I shook my head.

"Nope, we're just friends," I insisted. "I guess he is a sweetheart, and the date was amazing." Bella smiled, clearly happy for us.

"I guess this is going to be a great senior year of your life," she said. As she spoke, Bella and I continued walking to class. We did receive a few stares from our classmates, but I knew I would have to get used to this attention. After all, Christian and I seemed to be the topic of discussion around school.

[Christian]

I was at my locker getting ready for my class when I felt someone tap my shoulder. It was Shantel, and I rolled my eyes, hoping she wouldn't come to me with unnecessary drama. She couldn't handle the feeling about her not being friends with Alexis, which didn't sit right with me.

"Hey Christian," she said, faking a smile at me. "What do you want?" I asked, crossing my arms.

"I don't know, you and Alexis are a thing now after you broke up with me and moved on," she said, her eyes narrowing.

"Well, you shouldn't have cheated on me with guys in our school," I replied, "Maybe you should have been in her position."
She rolled her eyes and said, "Oh, please, Christian. We both know you don't like her like that. She's just basic - I mean, you'd date someone who dresses and looks basic."

I crossed my arms and said, "You know what, Alexis isn't a basic girl. She's one of the nicest people I know. You can't help the fact that I like her. I didn't force anything. All I ask is that you don't try to stay away from her or negatively influence her. She's a good person, and she doesn't deserve that."

Shantel sighed and walked away, leaving me to head to class.

[Shantel]

I couldn't believe Shantel and Christian were together. It didn't make sense; she was a basic girl, but I knew I had to find a way to get my man back. So I sat at an empty desk next to Alexis.

"Hey, girl," I said, as she rolled her eyes and looked at me. "What do you want, Shantel?" Alexis sighed and went back to doing her schoolwork.

"I love your outfit," I said. "I thought we could have some fun and hang out together, get to know each other better. How does that sound?"

Alexis raised an eyebrow and asked, "Shantel, why do you want to be friends with me? You don't even like me."

I hesitated for a moment, trying to come up with a good reason. "Well, I just think we could have a lot in common, and it would be fun to spend time with you," I replied, hoping it would be convincing enough.

Alexis studied me for a moment, then nodded. "Alright, let's hang out. But don't hurt my friend, okay?" she said, her voice firm. I nodded in agreement, knowing I had to be careful not to lose her trust.

"Come on, Christian doesn't need to know about our friendship. It's between you and me. I promise," Alexis said, giving an evil smirk.

"We shall meet up later," Shantel said, and I smiled, feeling a bit more hopeful about our plan and our friendship.
