Chapter 22. waqt tham gaya

Rakesh seemed much better and joyful when he met his entire family. Happiness of Naina Sameer accepting each other could be clearly seen on his face .Arjun had conveyed everything to his wife who was a little dissapointed since she wanted Naina and sharad alliance .

Prachi : mujhe lagta hai ki Naina ne papa ke liye hi haan kaha hai . Tum dekh lena .kuch din me khud hi papa ko bolegi ki usey Sameer nahi pasand hai.

Arjun (angrily) : Usey pasand ho ya na ho ,usne haan toh kaha na. Ab tum apna jyada dimag mat lagao .khud bhi chain se raho aur bakiyon ko bhi chain.se jeene do.

Prachi grumbled : tum mujhe suna rahe ho ? Mujhe kya ?Behen tumhari hai .Main koi zabardasti toh sharad se uski shadi nahi karwa rahi hun na ....usne aaj toh Sameer ke liye haan keh diya .par kal ko dono ki nahi pati toh kya hoga ? Aur ghar chor ke chali aayi toh kaun rakhega usey ?us waqt mujhse koi ummeed mat rakhna.

Arjun got frustrated : Dimag ke ghode daurana band karo. Main bhi apni behen ko achi tarah janta hun .chahe toh kuwari reh legi .par kisi.se rishta jodegi toh zindagi bhar nibhayegi .
Jo ho raha hai hone do .

Prachi (angrily ) : huh...mujhe kya .tumhari behen aur sabki bhalayi ke liye hi keh rahi thi.

Arjun took a deep breath and ignoring her blabber ,moved to meet chachaji.

It was night and most of the visitors had gone back by evening and only.Naina Preeti Sameer was left in the hospital. Arjun had gone back in the evening to relax since he was supposed to stay in the hospital at night. Naina made his father have his dinner and after that rest of the three people had their dinner amidst light talk.

Preeti : Ek baat bolun ,main bahut khush hun.tum dono ke rishte se. Sach me khush hun.

Sameer looked at Naina teasingly and smirked : Main bhi.
Naina preferred to remain quiet.

Preeti : aise mauni Devi kyun bani huyi ho. ..khush nahi ho kya Naina.?arey aaj toh double khushi ka din hai .Tauji bhi kal discharge ho jayenge aur tum dono ke pyar ki battery bhi recharge ho jayegi.

Naina glared at her but Preeti smiled and teased her.

Preeti : Ghurna band karo. Dono ke mann me laddoo toh phut hi raha hoga.

Suddenly they heard a loud jovial sound and turned to see Pundit moving towards them excitedly.

Pundit : laddoooo....kya baat hai .Main bhi khaunga.

The three laughed at his assumptions and Preeti said : kha le .Par thoda sambhal ke . Shadi ka ladoo hai .jo khaye wo bhi pachtaye aur jo na khaye wo bhi pachtaye.

Pundit : Chinta mat karo .khane peene ke mamle main kabhi pachtata nahi hun. Waise lagta hai tumlog masti kar rahe the.

Sameer : arey kuch nahi .aaja tu bhi sath bhaith ja .Bas dinner kar rahe the. Arjun.aa jaye toh Naina Preeti ko ghar chor dunga. Waise tu is waqt.

Pundit : arey haan yaar .Bank walon ko raat me hi fursat milti hai ..Socha Rakesh sir se mil lun. Kaise hai wo.

Naina shared his medical update with Pundit and Preeti.shared that finally the two had agreed to marry each other.

Pundit ( happily ) : acha....arey bhai asli khabar toh yahi hai . Matlab jaldi hi Sameer ghodi chadega aur baarat me nachenge.

Preeti : waise sach bolun toh aaj tumdono ko sath dekh ke ek baar phir se pyar aur zindagi pe bharosa karne ka mann kar raha hai . Itne saal tak Naina ko tadapte dekh kar Aaj ye vishwas ho raha hai ki der se hi sahi , par Zindagi dukh ke baad khushiyan bhi le ke aati hai.

Sameer and Naina looked at each other .Silently they were conveying a lot through their eyes. Naina's eyes conveyed pain and ensurance whereas Sameer's eyes cinveyed his guilt and assurance that he would never leave her.
