The succeeding days that led up to Christmas were a blur.
All Elena could track was the amount of times she was annoyed by Chris. She counted three distinct instances where she could easily recall the times where she was just... peeved.
The first time, aside from the movie night with Nathan, was when they were recording for a Wednesday video and he couldn't get off his phone. Nick had even sat in front– an uncommon occurrence when there wasn't a need for it. She, Nick, and Matt had all been vocal that day, they were all talking to the camera and conversing with each other. Chris, on the other hand, had his phone glued to his right hand and was constantly laughing and texting, almost seeming like Chris had completely forgotten about the camera in front of him.
So for this, Elena was annoyed. Usually, the highlight of the videos that she appears in is the banter that her and Chris share. Their fans have started to notice that they've been closer, seeing that they were showing up in each other's photo dumps more frequently– specifically, pictures of each other. She wanted to brush off the annoyance and say she was just missing her friend, but realistically, it had only been two days since Chris's attention was, for lack of a better term, ripped from her. She got to thinking, how much could she really miss a friend in two days? That didn't matter, though, this was a topic for another day.
