The last days I hadn't seen her a lot as she mostly sat in her office and when she came out she walked close to Max and didn't even look at me. Yesterday after qualifying I had asked Max about her, not sure why, but it made me curious.

The thing with her ex was just something I would like to know as I wanted to tease her about it, at least that's what I told myself. To be honest I cared a litte, cause seeing her that way wasn't fun.

Yeah fun, I really had to admit that insulting each other and making jokes was some fun and I enjoyed having her annoying voice in my ear and seeing her rolling her eyes at my comments. But since Thursday she was off.

Max had than told me not to ask to much about it, just something had happened between them in the past and he was an asshole, this Rafael. He looked kind like me, dark hair, tanned muscles and to be honest I wondered a bit, if Sofia hated me because of that.

But on the other side it didn't bother me much as without her being around I had more energy to focus on racing and it went pretty well with P3 in yesterday's quali and P1 in the race today. Yes, I won, it was like a miracle cause Max had no bigger issues, I was just faster than him.

Luckily he wasn't mad or anything like I remembered him back in the day, he was also pretty happy with his P2 and the team got this really got result there were a lot of people now in front of the garage for a big photo.

As I positioned myself between all the engineers and mechanics I heard a slight laugh behind me.

"Looks like you are capable of winning." she nudged me as she stepped closer for the photo.

"I always told you I am better than Max." I grinned back at her.

She looked way better than on Thursday when we had last spoken to each other. Her eyes looked bright and there was a big smile on her lips, she really looked beautiful. I immediately shook my head as I caught my thought.

"In your dreams." Sofia laughed and simply rolled her eyes, which caused me a hot feeling inside my stomach again.

Without knowing what I was doing I snatched an arm around her waist and pulled her towards me. As there were so many people around nobody really noticed it as everyone was preparing for the picture.

"My dreams contain different things, princesa." I breathed in her ear and winked at her as I pulled her closer.

For a moment she was taking aback and just starred at my face, unsure what to say about that as my words sounded way too wrong.

"Don't call me that." was all she then mumbled before she pushed me away.

"Hey princesa, don't be all grumpy again, I liked that smile on your face." I returned, using the Spanish nickname again.

I didn't know why I was suddenly so friendly and joking around without a bad word. Probably it was due to the adrenaline I had still from the race and my win. As the photographer gave us the hint to be ready there wasn't any time for Sofia to step away and so she stood right next to me, putting on a smile for the camera.

After some shots the mechanics started shouting and many RedBulls were emptied over our heads. I also wanted to open mine and splash them on my team, but suddenly I felt a body pressing up against my side.
