Chapter 21: Hawkeye Family

I woke up to Enzo licking my face, which makes me laugh and remember that AJ came to see me. I also remember the amazing time we had last night. I finally got Enzo to stop licking my face, and that's when I realized that AJ is not here.

I ended up asking Enzo where AJ went and he just barks and then walks out of the bedroom. I ended up pulling myself out of bed and putting on a t shirt before following Enzo.

When I walked into common area of the hotel suite, I noticed muffins, coffee, and a note sitting on the counter. I picked up the note and it said...

Sorry I wasn't there when you woke up, because I had a couple of meetings. I hope you slept well, and I hope you enjoy the muffins and coffee. I promise that I will be back soon.

After reading the note I looked over at Enzo and said...

Caitlin- I guess it's just you and me.

I started to drink my coffee and eat my muffins. After I finished, Enzo curled up with me on the couch while I scrolled through social media. A few minutes later, AJ finally walks through the door. She walks over to me and kisses me on the forehead before saying...

AJ- Sorry it took a little longer than expected, but  you have my full attention until I leave for Texas.

Caitlin- When do you have to be at the airport?

AJ- My flight is at 6pm, but let's look at the bright side. We have six more hours until I leave for Texas and then I will be back for the off season after my race in Dubai.

Caitlin- So you are saying that I have to wait a month after today.

AJ- The time will fly especially since you are going to be busy with basketball and school. Soon you will be too busy for me.

Caitlin- But it doesn't mean that I am not going to miss you.

AJ- I am going to miss you too, but time is not up yet so what do you want to do today?

I gave her a look and she smirked at me before saying...

AJ- I would love to stay here in a bubble with you, but we will have plenty of time to do that when I get back in three weeks. I want you to show me around and introduce me to your friends. I want to know more about you.

Caitlin- But you know all of my friends because they are my teammates. Plus you met Hailey, Paige, Nika, Kate, and you just met Georgia last night.

AJ- Yeah but I want you to introduce me to your life here, and like you have just mentioned, I have only met Kate.

Caitlin- Okay fine, but I need to shower first.

AJ ends up having a big smile on her face and gives me a quick peck on the lips before saying...

AJ- And you can where anything you want from my suitcases.

Caitlin- So you are saying that I can have some of your clothes?

AJ- Only if you...

I didn't even let her finish her sentence before kissing her, and running to go take my shower. After showering I brushed my hair out and put it up in a ponytail before picking out an outfit from AJ's suit case.

I ended up picking out a white Ferrari t shirt, a black hoodie that smells like her, and a pair of grey shorts. I put my shoes back on before walking out of the bedroom.

The moment AJ saw me I knew she loved me wearing her clothes, and she smirks before saying...
