Chapter 15: Stand by You

You and Jessie had finished putting on suits of power armor stored aboard the wrecked airship.

Mewtwo: "How ironic that the weapons that man created to match me would aid us in fighting them. Though, are you sure you'll be safe using those as well? I know he always has strings attached."

Jessie: "This kid's smarter than he looks. He managed to seal up the back door program installed in them. They're ours to use, and these are EMP-shielded like the rest of the defenses. Of course, we'll dismantle them once this battle is over. I give my word as trying to be a better person."

"We'll make sure these guys can't hurt you and the Pokémon ever again. You and them are real just like our Pokémon and our friends Pokémon."

Mewtwo is left speechless and got closer to you and put his hand on your shoulder.

Mewtwo: "You, your friend, and this girl truly are kind. Perhaps humanity and the Pokémon that weren't cloned deserve to exist after all. Stay safe, Y/N."

After he teleported away, the suits finished booting up.

"I guess this is it," you said to Jessie. "We make our stand against the Team Rocket organization."

Jessie: "Well, this seems easier than making a resignation letter. Also, somewhere deep down inside of me said this was something that wanted to do this for a long time."

"I think there was a reason why I started to like you."

Jessie kissed you as the proximity alarms went off.

Jessie: "That's our cue. Let's join the party!"

"Rock and Roll!"

You and Jessie activated the grav jets in the suits and flew up to see the cloned Pokémon fighting Team Rocket.

Jessie: "This is a lot more extreme than I thought."

"Well, we never expected it to be easy. Let's help them."

You and Jessie joined the fight and used the suits' psychic devices to neutralize the Team Rocket drones.

Jessie: "I can kinda see why psychic powers are awesome."

"Don't let your guard down!"

You maneuvered your way through several small ships and managed to make them crash into each other. You then used the suit to throw them at one of the main battleship's turbines while Jessie used her suit and manages to crush one turbine, but nearly pushed her suit to the limit.

Jessie: "Yeah, better to just throw stuff at it."

You saw several drones coming towards yourself, so you charged a laser to shoot through them. Mewtwo then arrived and fired his psychic orbs at the ship before using his power to crush the battleship's turbines and ram through it. The ship exploded, and both you and Jessie saw your respective teams arriving.

Mewtwo: "It's not over."

Giovanni arrived on his personal aircraft with a massive army of drones behind him.

Giovanni: "I have to admit, you have exceeded my expectations, but this is where things come to an end"

"Bring it on!"

You, Jessie, Mewtwo, and all your friends and Pokémon stood face to face with Giovanni.
