There will be a lot of errors and wrong grammar since I'm still a new writer. So please bear with me. Anyway, this is my first book so do enjoy it!

"Get up, Andrea."

Andrea Jessie scrunched her nose and leaned deep between the two pillows on top of her living room's sofa, shaking her head not wanting to move from her place.

"I don't wanna!" She yelled into the pillow. "Just leave me alone, Crisha."

"It's been three days and you've been lazying your ass for the whole weekend. Bitch it's Monday and we freaking have class!" Her best friend's brunette hair was looking a little wet probably sweating a lot since they'd been pushing and pulling each other since a while ago.

Then she ended up pulling her friend's leg out of the sofa and Andrea fell on the floor, hard. It honestly hurts, like she fell from a tenth-floor building. Honest statement, that was an excuse. She's just heavy, no other explanation is needed.

Andrea shouts in pain maybe even having a little tear from her eyes before glaring at Crisha. "Can't you just let me have a day of absence?" She lay on the floor complaining like a little kid. "I just need a break."

A break, that was her excuse but she was just really not feeling it to go to school. She never knew that heartbreak from a rejection could do that to her, a straight-A student who's scared of missing a single class.

What's worse the boy who rejected her was her first crush, a junior-year student like her and her photography clubmate. Maybe she should thank the universe that she wasn't unlucky enough to have him as her classmate. But he's from the class next to them so it's still isn't lucky.

"What break are you talking about? You had two days, weren't those enough?" Crisha folded her arms, squinting her eyes at her lazy best friend who was acting like she was on her period.

Two days isn't enough for a break from two years of loving someone. Crisha would never understand why she's acting like this since Andrea didn't tell her about the rejection or her two-year crush.

Andrea sighed as she picked up the remote of her TV and turned it off. She was watching a very funny Kdrama but never had she laughed while watching it. Instead, she was sobbing and wiping her nose.

She looked up at her best friend who was tapping her feet and raising a brow at her. She realized that there was no stopping her even if they both were late to class, Crisha was that persistent.

"Fine," Andrea sighed in defeat. "I'll go." But instead of getting up and going upstairs to get ready, she just sat back on the floor and stared at nothing.

She was immediately met by her best friend's slipper on her face. "Well, then get moving!"

Just as they arrived at school. After a moment of checking her bag if her wallet was inside and told Crisha that she'd catch up with her. Suddenly, she heard shrieks so loud that she flinched in surprise.

"What the heck was that?"

Looking up she saw a lot of girls running toward the middle of the road before the school building. But then she realized Crisha was not in sight. She looked around but she wasn't there. "Did she just leave me here?"

She fixed her bag on her shoulder as she was about to walk around the commotion but then her eyes widened when plenty of girls started to rush towards the place, this led her to bump into a lot of them.
