THREE MONTHS LATER
Naruto hurled into toilet as Hinata rubbed his back, but it wasn't the usual morning sickness. They were going to through samples for their wedding cake and with one bite, Naruto practically had to use both hands to cover his mouth to keep from throwing up.
"Okay, so no banana." Hinata said and Naruto nodded as he sat away from the porcelain bowl, the purple gently rubbed his shoulder. "You alright?"
"Yeah, just sick to my stomach." Naruto said as he held his stomach with one hand, dry heaving in the other. "I don't think I can keep taste testing, I'm too nauseous." Hinata nodded and helped the blond stand up.
"It's fine Naruto-kun, we can finish it later. That's why I decided to test the samples here." She said as she and Naruto walked out of the bathroom, the blond frowned which Hinata noticed. "What's wrong?" She asked as Naruto slumped onto the couch.
"It's nothing." He said, but it was clear something was bothering him. Hinata sat down next to him and patted her lap, gesturing for the blond to lay down. Naruto did so with a sigh and Hinata gently petted his head.
"Come on, tell me what's wrong?" The blond shrugged.
"I just feel bad. We're supposed to be planning our wedding and we can barely get anything done because I just keep getting sick." The purple haired smiled.
"You're pregnant Naruto-kun, it's going to happen and I don't mind you being sick. Especially not after finding out about them." She reassured, reminding the blond of their news.
"Don't remind me." Naruto grumbled angrily, referring to how he had passed out at the news, which still had Hinata laughing.
It was the first checkup after Naruto and Hinata had learned that the blond was expecting. But unlike the last time, Naruto was excited to see his baby again.
"So how is everything?" Tsunade asked the blond.
"Okay I guess." He stated sheepishly. "Some weird things are happening."
"Like what?" The eldest blond began writing on her clipboard as Naruto explained what was happening with him.
He was still craving tomatoes but he felt nauseous after eating them, which Tsunade said was normal. He was started feeling extremely tired on some days to the point he didn't really want to do anything else, which she said also said was normal. He admitted he had started wetting himself, which again, after laughing at the blond, Tsunade said was normal and was most likely going to get worse.
Naruto groaned in defeat and Hinata rubbed his back out of sympathy while Tsunade finished writing down everything. "Anything else?" She asked and the engaged "couple" shook their heads. "Okay then. I think we should go check to see how to the little guy is doing." Naruto nodded with a smile and laid down as he lifted up his shirt while Tsunade turned on the ultrasound machine. She put the gel on his stomach, the blond glad that it was somewhat warm this time, placed the wand on him and once again, the baby's image popped up on the screen.
But there was something different this time. "Huh." Tsunade said as she looked at the screen intensely, the little peanut was staring to look weird a bit. Almost like...'I wonder...' She moved the wand just and a strange thumping noise came out from the machine, startling the engaged yet non-couple.
"What is that?" Hinata asked and Tsunade grinned, it is what she thought.
"The babies' heartbeat." She answered while Naruto frowned.
