What if....

What if I were an astronaut, sailing among the stars,
I'd journey through the endless night, to worlds both near and far.
With cosmic dust upon my suit, and dreams like bright, bold beams,
I'd chart the realms unknown to us, living out my dreams.

What if I were a doctor, healing wounds and fears,
I'd mend the hurt and give my all, erasing pain and tears.
With skilled hands and a caring heart, I'd guard the fragile spark,
Bringing hope to the darkest night, igniting every heart.

What if I were an engineer, crafting wonders bold,
I'd shape the future with my hands, as stories yet untold.
Creating marvels in the world, with visions set alight,
I'd weave the threads of innovation, giving wings to flight.

What if I were a pilot, soaring through the skies,
I'd chase the sun and touch the clouds, as freedom fills my eyes.
With the world beneath my wings, I'd dance with every breeze,
Unfettered by the earth's embrace, in love with open seas.

What if I were a soldier, standing firm and true,
I'd guard the peace with steadfast will, and dreams that never rue.
Protecting what is dear to all, I'd face each daunting night,
To keep the world within my heart, safe from every fight.

But dreams may falter, yet I stand, holding fast to hope,
The path ahead may twist and turn, but I will surely cope.
For though the journey may be tough, and trials steep the way,
I will press on, for in my soul, I'll bring my dreams to stay.

Before they break, I’ll build them strong, with courage, grit, and grace,
For every dream deserves its chance, to find its rightful place.
So let us strive to make them real, each day a fresh embrace,
To turn our dreams to shining light, a world of endless space.
