As soon as I unlocked the door, I was pushed back some steps with the force it burst open.
Aahan, Aarohi and that clown Shefali entered the room worsening my mood.
"What the hell?" I gasped.
I shouldn't have opened the door for them.
"Why are you here?"
"You weren't picking up our calls, so we decided to meet you. Face to face." Shefali replied.
"Yes and stop behaving like a pussy." It was Aahan.
I looked at their feet and then at their faces, both of them were wearing footwear.
I hate it when someone enters my room wearing footwear. These people love to annoy me so much.
"Aahan, please go and remove your shoes," Aarohi said to him.
"Okay baby." He replied blowing a flying kiss.
Cringe.
"Shefali, you too"
"Okay bhabhi." She replied with a salute.
Drama queen.
"Bhai you okay?" Aarohi asked taking me into a brotherly hug.
"Yeah," I replied reciprocating the hug.
She's one of the best people god has sent in my life.
She, as a sister, changed me so much.
Earlier I was surrounded by men like Aahan, Aslan and Morris.
All the fuckers.
Well, Shefali was there but she barely behaves like a girl.
Aarohi's arrival changed all of us.
"Bhai is she still angry?" She asked sitting on the couch.
"She never touched any of the flowers, she doesn't even look at them and our conversation now is too formal for my liking. Also, she barely looks at me. So yeah...maybe..."
It's been a week that Aaradhya has been avoiding me.
I was so pissed when I got to know that she got a job offer from Pushkar and was even more pissed when she said that she's still thinking about accepting the offer."
All this made me behave like a fucking obsessed psychopath possessive boyfriend.
which was so wrong of me.
And I regret it.
"It's okay bhai. Eventually, she'll accept your apology." She spoke and I just smiled sadly.
In the meantime, Aahan and Shefali also came back with snacks in their hands, discussing some outings. But I was just not interested.
Since their voices were too loud I left the room and went outside to sit in silence for a while.
Whenever I think about her, it makes me realise how much I've started liking her.
And
How badly I want her.

"Rohan sir, tomorrow their internship tenure is ending. The team heads were asking if we'll be arranging a farewell or something." Aslan spoke gaining my attention.
We're currently sitting in my cabin discussing about upcoming events and projects.
This is the only time I actually paid attention to what he's saying.
"We're not doing anything this time."
"Why?"
"Aslan tell them we'll arrange a dinner at one of our restaurants, details will be sent later." Morris intertwined.
"Works," I mumbled.
"May I come in?"
How much I wished to hear this voice since last week!!
"Please come in Aaradhya."
"And Avni," he added once he saw Avni entering.
Oh both of them are here.
"What brings you here? All well?" Aslan asked.
"Everything's well sir, thankyou for asking. We're just here to gift you something on the behalf of the content team." Avni replied.
"There's no need for that," Morris spoke smiling at her.
Both of them just smiled at him and gave them the wrapped boxes.
"Wow, what's in this?" Aslan asked analysing the box.
"Something useful," Aaradhya mumbled.
"Rohan sir," Avni called gaining my attention and handed me a box, comparatively smaller than Morris's. I frowned looking at it but smiled at them.
"Aaradhya, we need to discuss something about the case," I spoke looking at her and she just nodded.
Aslan and Avni left, Morris was about to leave but I stopped him.
I don't want Aaradhya to feel uncomfortable.
"Morris, stay. Your presence is required."
"Okay."
"Please sit Aaradhya."
"I analyzed the case, I've also mailed you the list of relevant rules of law," Aaradhya spoke.
"According to my research, he already has so many ongoing cases on him, so the probability of winning the case is easy."
"Aaradhya, would you like to lead the case?" Morris continued.
Is he mad?
feelings apni jagah hai ye firm band karwayega.
{let's ignore the fact that I like her, but this way my office will be closed.}
"Me? Oh! No, not at all. I can't do that." Aaradhya replied instantly.
ThankGod!
"Just think of it, we've one week. We'll teach you. It's not that difficult, you know." Morris tried convincing him.
He was about to continue but thankfully his phone rang.
"Rohan sir, do you think I'm ready for this?" She asked looking at me.
"Not yet, but after some training, of course you can," I replied in the utmost professional tone.
"Do you think one week will be enough?"
"You can assist me if you want to, that way you'll be able to learn more. And if you're not comfortable with me-"
"I am." She instantly replied. I smiled listening to her reply.
"But tomorrow is the last day of this internship, so I'll not be able to assist you, I guess." There was a hint of sadness in her tone.
"Oh yes. I forgot."
"Thank you for this present," I spoke, continuing the conversation.
"What's in this?" I asked.
"A kind of tea, that cures insomnia." She replied softly.
"How-"
"I've worked under you for a month. Of course, I know." She replied smiling.
My heart skipped a beat, seeing her smile.
"Aaradhya, I want to apologise," I spoke.
"It's okay sir, you don't need to-"
"I should. It was wrong of me to behave that way. The reaction, the outburst was because of something, but still...." I looked at her and continued.
"I want to confess something for so long." I finally managed to say.
Now or never!!
"Aaradhya..I....." I was cut off by a tense Morris entering the cabin ruining my moment.
"Rohan, we need to leave."
"Where?"
"It's about your father.."
