I had waited a whole tortuous month for the college to start, and finally, the new semester started.

Today is our first guest lecture and I realised just how excited I was for today.

Law is not just a career option for me; for me, it's my lifestyle, the closest thing to my heart.

The kind of life I want.

Since 2010, I've always mentioned myself as the lawyer in every yearly planner that I own.

I have always manifested this in every angel number portal.

Now, I feel all my manifestations and hard work will pay off.

I'll get something, I've always wanted.

As I entered college, familiar faces waved and smiled at me as I walked by.

Sometimes I love interacting with people in my stream to know their experiences and to learn about various things from them.

After four hours of pure hell, I practically ran towards home.

The lecture was so boring. I never expected guest lecturers to be this bad. Now, the worst part of my days is travelling in the Delhi metro.

It's definitely an easier mode of transportation as travelling in the metro avoids hours of traffic but the metro is too crowded at times.

I boarded the Blue Line metro and took out my novel to avoid the chaos around.

Reaching home, I saw Papa's car parked outside which means he's home.

Why is he here this early?

Entering the home, I saw him sitting with a couple, tensed expressions adorning his face.

I quickly greeted all of them and quietly went to my room as this was something we were asked to do.

I stood behind the door so that I would not be visible to them and I'd be able to listen to what they were talking about.

What? I'm just curious.

"Mr Das we'll wait for your response." I heard a manly voice.

"Sure, Mr Gupta, I'll let you know," Papa replied, and after that, I heard footsteps, indicating they were leaving.

After waiting for 2 more minutes, I ran outside to know what they were talking about.

"Papa, who were they? Why were they here? What were you talking about?" I bombarded them with questions.

"Shona....." Mumma looked at me raising her brows while I just smiled sheepishly in return.
