"Jacey, get it!" I shouted. "You got this, Jace!"

I could see the determination on my niece's face as she watched the volleyball moving intently. Joining this team has been so good for her. For her heart and her soul. It's been good for my sister, too. After my brother-in-law passed away, they needed something to focus on, which seemed a great idea. I'm so glad that it was.

"The team makes her so happy." my sister sighed.

"They do, it's fun to watch." I replied as she lay her head on my shoulder.

"Thank you."

"Nothing to thank me for. What are you two doing for dinner?" I said.

"I called ahead and ordered Vitali's. Are you sure you don't want to join us?"

"Tonight is a big night, and I know she wants to spend it just with you. Six months is a long time, and you two have been doing amazing. I always come over, and you girls need this."

"Thank you." she whispered.

"You're so very welcome.".

"Give me some more good news. When will your boyfriend come back?"

"I don't know when he's coming back. This assignment was a surprise to him. It's been a long three months of Skype calls." I sighed.

"I bet. Let's go celebrate with our girl."

After my sister dropped me off at my apartment, I showered and heated some leftover Chinese food from yesterday. As I got comfortable on the sofa, there was a knock at the door. I put my plate down, laughing at my neighbor's insistence.

"Molly, I can't buy any more Girl Scout cookies. I have already ... Aaron ..." I stuttered when I opened the door.

"Hi, babe." he smiled.

I stood in shock for about ten seconds before launching myself at him. He caught me effortlessly, as he always does while keeping the bags safe.

"I missed you, too." he said, nuzzling my neck as he walked inside, and I shut the door.

His new beard felt deliciously rough on my neck, and I love it.

"I did miss you. When did you get back?" I asked.

"Yesterday, but it was straight to work. I'm sorry. I just left about an hour ago."

I squirmed in his arms until he put me down, and I just hugged him, happy to have him in my arms again.

"Don't be sorry; work is work, and you're here now." I smiled, wrapping my arms around his neck. "You wanna talk about it?"

"No, I don't want to talk about it at all." he sighed, and I could see the exhaustion in his eyes.

"Bad one?"

"Really bad one, local, but still really bad."

"Shower?" I asked, moving my hands over his back.

"Did you shower?"

"I did, you go, and I'll serve this up." I smiled, smelling the Indian food.

"You were eating already." he countered, cupping my cheek.

"I just sat down, didn't even taste it, and it's yesterday's lunch. I'll take Indian." I said, making him smile.

He showered, we ate, and we were just lying on the sofa, watching TV. His hands moved up and down over my back, each time getting closer to my ass.

"You trying to tell me something, Agent Hotchner?" I smirked, looking up at him.

"Just that I missed you." he smirked as well.
