You love me like a brand new home
She loves me like a deserted horrifying ship

You praise my strength touching my stone
She knows all the hidden ruins and every single rip

Watch me watering your desert in the daylight
I am coming for you with a vision of her

No matter how many what if we ignite
The flames you cause my chest remain spare

You brought me a jacket and a cigarette
She was my caffeine and literature

She has read into my bones and flesh
If no one were to tell you never to claim art under someone else's signature

Pull your head back for one last protest
And tell me till when you plan on paying for a definite forfeiture?
