Hidden feelings

When you look at me, all i feel is butterflies

You take all of my worries away

And replace them with fuzzy feelings

Staring at you feels like sun on my skin

Listening to you tastes like fizzy soda pop

I could listen to you talk all day

I love your voice, words of sweet honey

Drip on to me

Though we're far apart, i feel that we're close

Your presence brings me warmth and wraps

Around me like a hug

And there's just so many things that i like,

It's hard to remember the things i don't

I like it when you hum, and when you sing

I like when you laugh, when you speak, when you smile

I like your face, your hair, your teeth

I like your body and how you look so clean

I like when you tease me, i like when you say my name

I like when you're playful, or silent just the same

I like to hear you snore, and to breathe

It's almost like i like everything

Loving you smells of honeysuckle and strawberries

Keeping it all in smells of rain

One day, i'll wrap up each pretty little feeling i have for you

And send it away, down a stream

To reach you someday

But today, i lie in the rain
