May 17th
I feel so sick

"Can I just, not go to lessons today?"

Peter stared up at his brother, a small frown on his face. "Why?" He asked.

Edmund groaned, resting his forehead on the table. "I feel so sick." He grumbled.

Peter blinked, a little concerned. "Have you eaten any breakfast?" He asked.

He'd only joined him in the pretty much empty canteen about a minute ago, and to be fair, he had noticed his brother looked a little peaky.

Edmund shook his head at the question, sitting up and taking a deep breath. "No," He murmured. "Cause I feel like I might throw up if I do."

Peter sighed, but nodded a little, understanding. "Why don't you talk to your teachers?" He suggested. "I'm sure they'd let you have a day off if there's a risk of you throwing up all over their lovely classrooms."

Edmund chuckled gently at this, amused by Peter's smirk. "I'm really debating it." He breathed. "I could so go back to bed right now."

"Then go," Peter told him. "Come on, I don't think you've missed a day this year yet, so it's nothing to worry about."

Edmund knew he was right, his lesson attendance was literally as high as it could be, so one sick day wouldn't affect anything. "Alright," He breathed. "Will you be here at lunch?"

Peter nodded.

"I might make the trek down to find food." Edmund murmured. "So maybe see you then."

Peter smiled in agreement. "If you need anything, you come find me okay?" He said firmly.

Edmund gave him a small smile back, nodding his head. "I will," He murmured. "I promise."
