YOU RUBBED YOUR HEAD, a warm cup of tea in your hand. honestly, you were pretty pissed off. when meeting up with toji earlier, things were alright at first. you both had your usual banter. then randomly, out of nowhere, the conversation turned serious. you had only brought up your futures and how that would go. that topic quickly escalated when toji got irritated and brought up your sorcerer status.

you felt used. how could he be so hostile after everything you've done for him? you've helped him in several situations, and even gave yourself to him. he's so stubborn and full of attitude..this was the last straw. you couldn't believe him..

there was a knock at your door, making you perk up. you set your tea down and went to answer it. you opened the door, seeing nobody there at first. you looked down. "huh? megumi?" you spoke as you looked at the small boy. "shouldn't you be with your-" toji made his appearance, looking at you. you deadpanned as you looked back. "..father" you finished.

"can we come in?" he asked. you only glared as you stepped aside. you didn't want to show any hostility around megumi, he didn't need to hear that from you. the two walked in. megumi took a seat on your couch. "do you want any juice, megumi?" you asked as you closed the door. "no, i'm good.." he replied, hugging a small bunny plush.

"if you say so" you spoke as you turned the tv on, playing some random kid show. you walked pass toji, completely ignoring him as you grabbed your tea and walked to your room. toji quietly huffed, following you.

you took a sip. "i didn't let you in because it was you. i did it for megumi" you told him, glaring. "yeah, i figured" toji replied. "why the hell are you here anyways? surely you wouldn't need any more help from the sorcerer, right?" you retort.

toji averted his eyes. "look, i'm sorry. guess i overreacted a bit" he apologized, rubbing the back of his neck. "uh-huh" "i'm being serious. i know i usually don't get all sentimental or whatever, but.." he approached you, hugging you from behind. you tensed up as his arms wrapped around you. "i'm actually sorry. i mean it" he said.

you let out a sigh. "who knew the sorcerer killer could be so vulnerable.." you teased as you turned around to face him. "so you forgive me?" "maybe if you beg really hard, you asshole. i'm still pissed" you told him, poking his forehead. "i'll make it up to you some other way" toji promised as he pulled away. "you better" you replied.

"why are you actually here though? knowing you, i feel like there's more than just apologizing" "there's something stupid going on with my apartment. mind if we crash here for a bit?" he asked. "yeah, i don't mind, but where are you gonna sleep? all that muscle isn't gonna fit on the couch" you pointed out. toji only grinned as he flopped onto your bed.

you chuckled. "of course.." "i wouldn't have slept on the couch anyways. i'm sure you get lonely in bed when i'm not around" toji joked. "fuck you!" you replied as you took a seat on the bed. you continued drinking your tea as toji got comfortable.
