"SORRY FOR TAKING SO long, there was a big line at the pizza place, and..anyways, i'm here!" yuji spoke, walking into your dorm with a small box of pizza.

"it's all good, yuji" you said as you chuckled. "i got half and half, if that's okay!" "oh, that sounds pretty good." you both sat on your bed, starting to eat the pizza. "i know gojo-sensei likes kikufuku and all, but you think he has a favorite candy bar? kitkats are pretty good, and.."

as yuji began to ramble, you found yourself staring at him. he's such an amazing person, so nice too. however, it was often that you'd remember that he has a time limit. once he ate all twenty of sukuna's fingers, he would be executed.

the thought honestly terrified you, especially knowing that you wouldn't be able to see him again. you couldn't imagine not hearing his voice..not hearing his laughter..

"..overall, i really like the snap of them, you get a perfect half and half..hm?" yuji stopped talking and noticed tears flowing your cheeks. "n/n!" he exclaimed. "what's wrong? did i say something to make you upset?"

you shook your head. "no, it's just.." you looked down at your lap. "i was just thinking about how much i'd miss you after you're executed..i feel like life would just be unbearable.." you told him.

his eyes widened. "n/n.." he said softly, embracing you. "i'm sorry..i really wish that i could stay here with you..i made a promise to my grandpa, this is my way of honoring it.."

yuji then pulled away, wiping away your tears. "besides, you have any idea how scared i am to be without you? even with that fear, i don't regret eating that finger..if i didn't, i doubt i would've met you!" a sad smile appeared on his face.

"yuji.." "you don't need to cry, not right now anyways..let's make the most of the time we have left, okay?" you nodded as yuji placed a kiss on your forehead. you giggled in reponse, taking a bite of your slice. after a bit, yuji continued talkng, making you smile.
