Chapter 34: Diamond

"Wakey wakey mommy!" Nagising ako dahil sa ingay at maliliit na halik sa aking pisnge. I half opened my eyes and saw my cute babies. "Hmm, 5 minutes please." Sabi ko at sinubukan muli isara ang mga mata and I heard them groaned. "Mimi! You've been sating that!" Natatawa kong tinignan si Ez at naka busangot na nga ang mukha nito. On the other hand Cassy is just pouting her heart shaped lips. "Oh sige sige maliligo na si mommy!!! Go downstairs na." Ngayon ay nasa kayla Dad kami dahil wala na naman si Ethan for his out of the country businesses.

"Bangon ka muna mommy!" Cassy.

I chuckled before slowly sitting on the bed. I pouted at them, nag papaawa.

"Go na mimi! Ate and I are excited na to sing!" Hmmp! Sige na nga. Tinaboy ko na rin sila pababa at para mauna na rin silang kumain kasama si Dad at Claire. We're attending an event sa school nila where they'll gonna perform for their team. It's the school's 28th founding anniversary so they're about to perform and celebrate that.

Their talents were discovered when they both sang on the mother's day's event last week. Nag madali na lamang ako sa ginagawa at naligo na. It took me 30 minutes or more to go out that I found my kids pouting while looking at me. I chuckled. The even will start at 9:30 pa naman daw. And it's just 6:15 in the morning. For their final rehearsal that would be at the last 15 minutes before the event starts. But then, kids are always excited.

"I'll just dress up guyss hmm? I'm not gonna wear make up naman so bear with me please?" Marahan ko pang sabi na kina tango naman ng dalawang naka nguso pa rin. Instead of laughing even more at their mad face nag madali na lang din ako sa pagsusuot ng damit. I wore simple floral maxi dress paired with my beige ankle strap chunky heels. I had my hair curl and put on some cheek tint and light lipstick.

Nang matapos ay hinarap ko na ang dalawa na kanina pa tahimik. "You should eat pa mommy." Said Cassandra. I smiled at them both. "I'll just have coffee on our way." Saad ko naman at saka kinuha ang maliit na puting bag na nag lalaman ng wallet at cellphone lamang.

"But mimi? It's okay, eat first muna!" Ez demanded kaya pina unlakan ko na lamang ang dalawa at kumain. It was nearly 7 am when we left Dad's house. We arrived 7:35 am and was greeted by the school principal from elementary building. "Hello Mrs. Hudson, It's nice to see you again." The woman greeted in delight so I smiled brightly and greeted her back.

"Uh-huh. Your children are literally smart in both emotional and intellectual perspectives. I smiled even more proud of my daughters. "I guess they got it from their Dad, ma'am. I wasn't really quite good at school." Humalakhak ako at gan'on rin sya.

"Nah, we all have our own intelligence Mrs. Hudson. I believe you were smart just lazy hahaha." True, her words are real. I just laugh at it. "Oh sya, I have to go now. Goodluck kids!" We bid goodbyes and went to their designated room to fix their outfit and hair pa, pawis na pawis pa ang dalawa. "Mimi water." Instead of me, Cassandra handed her sister a bottle of mineral water. I smiled at the sight.

"You take a video of us! Mommy! Okay?" Ez said with a big smile after drinking her water and I nodded. "Of course! We'll send it to your Dad!"

"Oh! We'd love to mommy! But I hope daddy is here." It was quick, hindi ko na namalayan ang oras at nag simula na rin ang event. For the opening, it intermission number from higher levels and then words words and words from different school officials. After that is where my kids and one of the girls from their team performed. I am still working, tho minsanan lang. I don't think I can work full-time again. I miss my kids easily.

Cassy pouted but her face lit up as soon as she saw an ice cream parlor over the car window. I smiled at that. She looked up to me pleadingly so I pinched her cheek.

Too bad Ez is too tired to open her eyes. Binuhat ko na nga lang kanina pa sakay sa kotse. "Manong stop by po muna? We'll buy ice cream lang po."

"Mukhang kanina pa nga po nag c-crave ng Ice cream si kulit sa bahay eh." I chuckled at that. Sa ninang claire n'ya kase yon eh. And she doesn't want to try even a bit kahit si claire na ang nag sabing she can get it. She said it's for her ninang's babies.

Pagkatapos bumili ng ice cream ay sa penthouse na rin kami umuwi. I don't actually know if he'll be home but then keri naman namin ng mga bata lang. I thanked kuya for fetching us before we get into the elevator na. Ezriel woke up on my arms, pagka pasok ng mga kuwarto nila ay agad din silang pinag half bath na at saka binihisan ng pantulog. I wanted to sleep beside them sana kaso maliit lang din ang bed kaya kahit medyo malungkot ay sa kuwarto na lang rin ako naka tulog.

It was midnight something when I felt someone kissing my forehead. I was too tired to even open my eyes kaya't hinayaan ko na. The next day when I woke up by the sun kissing my face, nagulat na lang din ako at katabi ko na si Ethan. Oh to sleep next to him and wake up next to him is like heaven. I smiled as I caresses his clear skin face. Naka dagan ang kanan n'yang hita sa akin at ang kanan nya ring braso.

I can see dark circles under his eyes. He must be so tired. From work, biyahe at kung ano ano pa. My poor husband. "Good morning." Biglang bati nito sa paos na boses.

"Hmm, I need to get up for our kids love." Hindi ako nito pinansin bagkus kinuha pa ang kamay kong nasa pisnge nya at dinala sa mga labi nya. It shocked me when I saw a beautiful diamond ring on my finger. I couldn't explain what I am feeling.

"Oh my god love! That's so pretty!" He just smiled bago dumilat. "Glad you like it." He said with a wide smile. Umupo ako at kinuha ang kamay sa kan'ya saka tinitigan ang singsing. It is sparkling! Beautiful and breathtaking! "Oh god! It's so pretty! Ethan!!! What is this?" Umupo na rin s'ya at saka ako tinignan sa mata.

"Let's get married again, hmmm? I wanted it to be a grand wedding. I don't wanna give you back the heirloom. Ayokong magpa alala lang yon ng mga mapapa–"

"Love, it's fine. Kahit anong singsing, kahit simpleng kasal, kahit simpleng venue lang, basta ikaw ang pakakasalan ko I'm all good." He kiss me without a word. We were both panting nang mag hiwalay ang mga labi. He was about to pull my nighties out when we heard a knock. "I almost forgot about having three girls..." And we both laughed at that.
