The once clear, blue skies above turned dark as night in almost an instant. Thick, dark clouds began to swirl and combine, creating abrupt and loud crashing sounds. Bright flashes of lightning struck the ground repeatedly as large droplets of rain fell until gradually it turned into a heavy downpour.

The entirety of Japan was informed that a violent storm was underway, so most went into a state of panic. Students and teachers were released from school early, certain businesses closed earlier than usual, and so forth. Just about every civilian within the city rushed in search of shelter from the unpredictable storm, and as they did so, something much more bizarre occurred.

Large portals seemingly out of nowhere appeared in the skies, creating a gateway for what only could be described as "creatures" or "entities" that emerged from them. They were like nothing anyone's seen before, like something straight out of hell. Each of them unique and different from one another, but equally as scary.

For the brief moment that they had stumbled upon Earth, they wasted no time brutally and senselessly slaughtering innocent people without batting an eye. In relatively just an hour, they managed to effortlessly destroy thirty percent of the civilization that inhabited the country, sparing no mercy.

Civilians were warned to stay indoors, lock their windows and doors, and don't approach or confront them under any circumstances. If they did death would be imminent, for these creatures craved flesh and blood, and got a thrill out of the violence and destruction they so easily caused.

Understandably, Japan and the rest of the world were horrified upon discovering what had stumbled upon the planet. Every single person was completely petrified and feared for their lives, desperate for someone, anyone to save them from this devastating nightmare. Daringly, three heroes stepped up to the plate to take on the challenge.

Together they called themselves, The Triple Threat Duo.

This duo wasn't just your average, ordinary heroes. To say the least, they were quite popular amongst the public for their stellar heroic deeds, even All Might the number one hero had great respect for them. Many felt safe in their presence and even cheered when they showed up to defeat the creatures. Because of their long history of accomplishments during their careers, Japan was confident it'd be a cinch for them to put a stop to the madness.

Unfortunately, it didn't end like everyone had hoped. The intense battle between the fearless heroes and the evil creatures ensued. It felt like it went on for an eternity as everyone watched either in person or behind the safety of their screens, hoping and praying the heroes would successfully defeat these demons.

Much to the world's horror, the duo was tragically defeated, and not in the most pleasant way either. To say their deaths were brutal felt like an understatement. Not even news reporters could stomach it and stopped all broadcasting midway through. The heroes' bodies were beyond unrecognizable and completely torn apart by the time it was over; their blood staining the streets. The creatures stood victorious with wicked smiles on their faces, filling the world with hopelessness and despair.

By some miracle, the creatures decided to leave, satisfied by what they had accomplished. No one knew why they left or where they were escaping to, but everyone was beyond relieved when they left and didn't return. Unfortunately, they left behind countless catastrophes. Several lives had been lost and many cities had been destroyed entirely. Many were left homeless, while others were left distraught and traumatized with no choice but to continue their lives without their loved ones.

Amidst this catastrophic tragedy, what effect did it have on you? Well, you see, the three heroes that fought endlessly to save the world that day...they weren't just heroes to you. They were your family. When they died, they left their beloved daughter and younger sister behind. You were beyond devastated and in disbelief at what happened in such a quick, gruesome manner. However, there was one emotion that outweighed the sadness you were feeling, and that feeling...was rage.

Words couldn't describe the anger you felt deep within. You swore you'd have your revenge for what those monsters did to your family and so many innocent people. In that moment of blind rage, you completely lost all control of yourself. Your quirk activated and you no longer had control of your mind and body. Everything was a blur as you ruthlessly destroyed whatever stood in your way until the point you passed out.

The next morning you awoke to a brand-new day. You found yourself lying on the ground surrounded by broken glass and bits of furniture strewn about. Your head was pounding and your body aching as you sat up to look around. At first, you were confused by the mess until you noticed your friend was lying next to you unconscious. All recollections of yesterday's events leading up to your violent rage came rushing back like a tidal wave making you feel sick to the stomach.

"Oh shit. No. No. No! What have I done?!"

An overwhelming feeling of guilt washed over you. Last night your quirk had turned you into a dangerous monster, something you thought would never happen again. Tears filled your eyes as you spotted the wounds he had on his face and body. He was in pretty rough shape, so you dragged him over to the couch to attend to them. It was a relief none of them were serious, but that didn't change how angry you were at yourself.

"I-I'm so so sorry, Shinso. It's all my fault! I won't let it happen again. I promise." you said aloud to him, choking back tears as you began to clean the blood from his forehead with a wet rag. You weren't sure if he could hear you, but you felt obligated to say it.

When you had finished treating his wounds, you left him alone to rest. You couldn't stand to see the state the room was in, so you began cleaning up after the mess you had created. First, you grabbed a broom and swept up all the glass into a dustpan and disposed of it properly. You did the same with the broken bits of furniture. Bigger pieces along with damaged appliances you picked up and tossed aside that you'd take care of later.

As you were cleaning, you came across a shattered family portrait and lavender flowers scattered across the floor. Through teary eyes and shaky hands, you picked up every individual flower and combined them. You then searched the house for a new vase, as well as a picture frame. When you had found what you needed, you filled the vase with water and placed the lavenders in it, returning them to their original place.

The lavenders had been a recent birthday gift given to you by Shinso. He knew they were your favorite flowers not just because of how beautiful and elegant they were, but because they made you feel calm and at ease. Surprisingly they were still as lively and colorful as the day you received them. Pink dusted your face as the memory replayed in your mind, bringing a smile to your face.

Eventually, you snapped out of your thoughts and picked up the broken family portrait that was faced down on the floor. A lump caught in your throat as you reluctantly turned it around. A photo of you smiling standing with your parents and older sister by your side rests in the frame. It was a photo you took with them not too long ago after your sister had successfully graduated high school and became the hero she had always dreamed of becoming.

All the memories you've spent together as a family over the years came flooding back all at once, causing your knees to buckle and drop to the floor. You held the picture frame close to your chest as you violently sobbed and curled into a ball. The fact that they were dead was slowly starting to sink in. You didn't want to accept it. To live a life without them was a life you didn't want to live, but you knew deep down regardless of how you felt, you had to keep carrying on for their sake. That's what they would've wanted.

"I promise mom, dad, and big sis, no matter how difficult, I'll become a hero who protects and saves people just like you guys! And I swear I won't stop at nothing until I find those creatures and kill them for what they did! I hope you'll be watching me. I promise to make you proud."

With this newfound dream and unwavering determination, you set your heart on becoming a hero. Five years passed since then, and you were finally at a point in your life when you could start taking the first few steps toward your dream, starting with UA High School. With a deep breath, you walked toward the school's entrance with your head held high, ready to face whatever awaited you in the future.
