Lucifer's pov

"That's right. I demand a meeting. No I don't care that I'm banned from heaven" I paced back and forth as I talked with heaven on the phone. The others watched me in bated breath. For their sakes I have to convince them "this meeting could very well be beneficial for both heaven and hell alike. I can tell you what won't be beneficial to heaven, ignoring me!" After a long pause the person on the other end agreed "really? Alrig-I mean cool cool. See you next month" I hung up, turning to the others "we got in!"

"Alright!" The others rushed over, slapping me on the back. I smiled softly, we finally have a fighting chance-

My thoughts were cut off by the door getting kicked down. Standing there was-

"Charlie!" I yelped.

"Hey mom, dad. I got tired of being ignored so I thought I'd come visit" she walked inside.

"Well we're always happy to see you honey" I smiled nervously.

She looked each of us up and down "so you actually got some suckers to believe in your farfetched cause. Have you told them you have no proof any of this will work?"

"Charlie that's enough!" Lilith said sternly.

"What? They deserve to know they're getting into" she shrugged as she looked around the hotel "what a tacky looking place. I'm surprised anyone would willingly stay here"

"Excuse me miss but we all have our reasons for being here" vox spoke up.

"Yeah what the TV guy said" Adam marched up to her "we're not some poor me victims. We're here because we believe in your dad and the shit he is doing. Though I wouldn't expect a little kid who thought that hair dye was a good idea to understand"

"Eep!" She grabbed her strand of black hair with a blush. I tensed up. He's a braver man than me!

"Ah such cruel words. Are you alright Mr morningstar?" Alastor gave me a caring look.

"Yeah I'm fine. Thank you alastor" I squeezed his hand greatfully.

"Who the hell are you!" Charlie glared at him.

"I'm alastor my dear, pleasure to meet you" he held his hand out to her.

"Yeah the feeling's not mutual" she recoiled in disgust.

"Charlie be nice" I scolded her "alastor has been a great help to us"

"Oh it was the least I could do. After all it's such a terrible thing when a child is unwilling to help their own father" he looked at her with a glint of malice. Oh no.

"I can help" her face got red as she prodded his chest "I can help way more than you can you stuck up deer jerk!"

Their fight was cut short with the chandelier falling. We coughed as the dust got everywhere but Charlie simply laughed.

"Alright then" she took my hand and slid across the room "looks like you could use some help. From the princess of hell herself. Check out my glowing reviews on yelp"

"Five star!"

"Flawless!"

"greater than great!"

"With a punch of a pentagram. A wam! Bam! Boom! Alacazam! Usually I charge a sacrificial lamb but you get the family rate, thanks char!"

"Who needs some busboy now that you've got the chief" she served me a cake of her stabbing alastor. I nodded nervously. Please let this phase be over soon! "Michelin-tasting menu, free à la carte. I'll rig the game for you cause I'm the ref! Champagne foundation, rubber duck mountains that's just the start!"

"Who's been here since day one" alastor pushed him to the side "who's been as faithful as a nun. Always here with an old timely pun your executive producer!"

"That's true!"

"I'm your guy! Your day to day, your chum, your set fast hotelia. Remember when I fixed that cloug today" he pulled nifty out of the toilet.

"I was stuck, thank you sir" she cried into his chest.

"Oh you!"

"I'm truly honoured that we've built such a bond" he spun me around.

"Aww"

"You're like the father that I wish that I had" Charlie stiffened up at his words.

"Al" I smiled, touched by his words.

"I care for you just like I'm a child that you  spawned"

"Hold on now!"

"It's a little funny, you could almost call me sooooon" he smirked over at Charlie who retaliated with a violin. That's my girl!

Alastor dropped a piano on her head and began playing. I was about to rush over to make sure she was ok when she appeared behind him, playing an out of tune acorndien. They glared at each other before continuing their song.

"They say when you're looking for assistance. It's smart to pick the path of least resistance"

"Others say that in your needy hour. There's no substitute for pure morningstar power!" she sprouted a demon tail and red eyes just like mine. I couldn't help but stare in awe "who just happened to also be your blood!"

"Sadly there are times where our children are a dud! They say the family you choose is better"

"What a bunch of losers!"

"Can you butt out of my song?"

"Your song? I started this!"

"I'm singing it I'll finish it!"

"Oh you tacky piece of-"

"It's me!"
