Kimiwara woke up once again after a few hours of sleeping comfortably in her hammock and when her eyes fluttured open, she saw the sky now still bright but the sun was exactly in the middle above the Glade, proving to be midday. She sat up and groaned at the feeling of her head getting heavier and heavier by the minute and the throbbing pain in her legs but she ignored both and stood up carefully.

Kimiwara then looked around a little bit to take in what was happening and saw Newt approaching her from the Homestead so she smiled softly but then saw he seemed a little concerned with his face creased with worry and his lips downturned so just as quickly as her smile came, it disappeared.

In no time, Newt was in front of her.

" Kimi. " Newts tone was stern and sharp, worrying Kimiwara even more.

" yeah..? " She uttured softly in reply.

" i want you to tell me every bloody thing that happened in the maze from the moment you stepped foot in there to the moment you got back here. " Newt seemed to have noticed her discomfort since his face softened and he sat down in her hammock, crossing his arms and staring at her with a patient gaze.

kimiwara sighed and with that, began to tell him everything that had happened from Minho scolding Thomas, to them tying Alby, to them seeing a Griever and running off and leaving Thomas, to them running and running in the maze to getting chased by a Griever all the way back to Thomas and then to Thomas killing a Griever, them getting Alby and finally to them coming back to the Glade. Newt listened to seemingly every breath that escaped her lips and his gaze stayed on her the entire time until she finally finished to which he looked away and sighed to himself.

Kimiwara stared at him and frowned a little to herself when she saw him looking down with such an upset expression but before she got a chance to say anything to him he rose up and gave her a gentle smile, then stared into her eyes as his expression lightened up but Kimiwara wasnt sure if it was because he felt better or he was putting the act on to simply reassure her.

" Kimi id like you to come to the Gathering today. its going to be about you and Tommy anyways. "

Kimiwara thought about this for a little since she got told only keepers and the leader can go to these gatherings but it made sense for the two people it was about to be there too so eventually she nodded and Newt gave her a slight pat on the back before starting to lead her away. Kimiwara followed alongside him, mind consumed with what the others will say at the gathering and as much as she'd hate to say it, what punishment they've decided for her and Thomas. There was no possible way they wouldnt get any but what exactly would it be. It could easily range from waking up 2 hours earlier to do extra work to being banished from the Glade.

As Kimiwara walked, she felt her chest tighten with every step she took and only got a slight bit of comfort from the feeling of Newts hand on her back. She hated her situation, wished she would of only had a better footing when pulling Thomas or maybe even being back in her old life would fix everything but no matter what truly was the reason she found herself in the maze, rules were rules.

Eventually, her and Newt reached the circular shack and Newt opened the door with a creek, motioning her inside to which she slowly stepped in. This place reeked of mildew and dust. Kimiwara went to Thomas and stood near him, still and silent and watched as a small crowd of boys were sat like audience behind a wooden bar keeping them from her, Thomas, Newt who was now leaning against a wooden pole with his arms crossed and a serious expression on his face, Frypan who was standing behind Newt just eyeing her and Thomas and ended up waving when he caught Kimiwaras stare, Minho who was behind Thomas with his arms crossed and a similar expression on his face to Newts as he looked rested, then Gally who was in the middle of the area cut off from the group of boys just standing there seeming frustrated and annoyed.
