"It just won't work, not after all of this." She said. He took her hand and looked her in the eyes, they were suppose to be magical and always full of mystery. This time they weren't full of mystery but instead full of tears on the verge of breaking her bright blue eyes.
"Just try, please, I need you." He said back. He knew that showing sadness would break her even more than she already was but staying strong was so difficult.
"I can't, it'll never be the same." As she said this a tear rolled down her soft pale skin. It was the only sound to be heard among her soft whimpers and his quick breaths.
"I still love you." She broke the silence and broke his heart along with it.
"Not like I love you."
"Half hearted."
