Can I ever fall in love?
Days go by,
Moments drift away,
People turn into monsters,
As I become a beast,
To survive.
I can't trust anyone,
My heart yearns for trust,
Lost long ago in the dust.
"Try falling in love," they said
,But all I heard was,
"Try entangling in problems."
At last,
"The doors to my heart are shut,"
Secured with locks forged
From lessons of my past,
Locks that will never open...
