Chapter 35

"Sir! Na-miss kita! Huhuhu." Mr. Santos can't help but hug Mox.

Mox chuckled and tap Mr. Santos' back, their ultimate shipper.

"Nagkagulo ang buong BNJMN E sa pagbabalik mo, Miss Hermes. Everyone is thinking how to broadcast your comeback in a unique way.

"I can't do a movie." She said. Movie will stress the baby. And Mox can't do it since he's also busy with Piovere pa.

"Commercial siguro? Or billboard?" Ginger suggested.

"Can be. As we announced the collab of Rain E and BNJMN E while we're doing a pre-wedding trailer." Mox said.

Agad na nagsilingunan ang ulo nito sa daliri niya. The pink stone shine brightly. She showed her ring proudly.

"Magkano yan, Ma'am? Halatang mamahalin!" Manghang sabi ni Mr. Santos.

"143 for I love Mox." She smirked.

 Mox chuckle on what she said. Looking amuse on how proud she is. Pinatakan nito ng halik ang kamay niya.

"Thousand?!"

"Million." She corrected.

"Dudugtungan ko na ba ng dollars?" Mox whispered on her ears.

"Huwag na, baka mahimatay si Mr. Santos." She whispered back.

Halos buong umaga sila sa BNJMN E, she enjoyed the unending tea and news. They were also ginving her info para maka-catch up siya.  Pero hindi na muna siya sa mga mahihirap na trabaho. Si Mox muna daw gagawa even tho he has something to do in Rain E and Piovere. She's pregnant pa kasi.

Zhein resigned the time Zai quit on showbiz. They're really together. Sa ngayon ang vice president na muna kasi ang naghahandle sa Rain E, naghihintay sa pagbabalik ni Mox.

Mox attention was diverted when someone called him. Hindi niya napigilang tumingin sa phone nito. It was Sol. 

"Why is she calling you?" She can't help but ask.

"I don't know. She don't usually call."

Because she just show up on your office, right?

"I'll just take this call. Or wanna come with me to hear our topic?" Mox invited.

"Geez. I'm not that obsessed. Go ahead, it must be important." Pagtataboy niya dito.

Mox place a quick kiss on her lips before walking away. Sabi niya hindi siya obsess pero wala naman sigurong masama kung susundan niya ito ng tingin.

Mox face looked problematic on what he heard on the other line. She sighed heavily. She knew he heard a bad news. 

Dahil abala sa pag-uusap ang team niya ay pasimple siyang umalis at lumapit kay Mox. Sakto naman tapos na ang tawag. Mox hugged her waist and kiss her forehead. 

"What's wrong?" She asked worriedly.

"My father is on the hospital again. Everytime he was sent to the hospital, he always mentioned his wish for me to settle down as if it will make him feel better." Problemadong saad ni Mox.

"Then, tell him that we'll get married soon!" She beamed happily.

Of course, she wants her future father-in-law to be okay!

Mox looked at her intently. She was so confused on his reaction because he seems pained on her happy face.

"I-is there something wrong?" 

Mox lick his lips and sighed. Hinila na siya nito papunta sa loob ng private room sa office niya. He locked it. Kinabahan tuloy siya. Feelin niya may bomb na i-te-tell si Mox.
