Every scene comes to an end, but it depends on how the characters grasp the audience's role. Natasha, in her role, does an outstanding job of gearing up the audience. If I wasn't keen on learning about her feelings for Theodore, then this jealousy wouldn't have been because looking at Theodore, I can see how captivated he is by her performance.
The School made agetand last event for us where even we can join in it. But who wants to be a part of the show when the fun part is to sit and enjoy? I am better off on the podium because the stage fear is too much for me to be even near to it.
"Why is your face so red?" I get out of my trance and look beside me to see Eleanor with a mischievous look on her face.
"Who, me?" I try to laugh but all it comes out is a squeaky sound.
She lightly elbows me and laughs. "It's useless to be. Don't need to worry that she will steal your dude."
"How can you say those words that are in my head?" I point my head using my forefinger and she laughs.
"Let me tell you a secret."
I make a sceptical expression, which makes her laugh harder, which makes Theodore look at us. I shake my head, and he smiles at me, then looks to the other side where Isaac is, and they have a conversation once again. She tugs me towards her and whispers lowly, "She likes girls."
My reaction comes after two minutes. "What the freaking sandcastle! Really?"
Theodore once again looks at me. "Are you really alright, my love?" My heart goes haywire whenever he says that.
"Yes, yes, I am." I smile, lean to him, and peck his cheek, which makes him blush immediately.
"Fine." With that, he turns his head, and I glare at Eleanor, who has a cheeky smile on her pretty face.
"How did you find out?" I probe.
She shrugs. "Won't you like to know whom she likes?"
"She likes?!" I mean, I never saw her anywhere near girls except boys. Does that mean she was hiding her identity? But why? Is she embarrassed? But the way Eleanor continuously hits me with her elbow, I stop and ask her who she is. "It's Madeliene."
"The f-" Eleanor puts her hand on my mouth and I truly gasp. Why am I getting punches after punches of gossip now?
"One day, your big mouthy expression will kill all of us." I roll my eyes. This news isn't a small one; it completely changes my perspective and, at the same time, my feelings for her.
After some time, she removes her hand from my mouth and glares at me. I giggle at her. "Any more gossip?" I ask.
