Winter sat up on the medical bed, he was doing much better than earlier, he could actually move a lot more. Winter was about to get up and get something to eat but suddenly, Qibli entered the room with two goats in his maw. Qibli dropped one in front of Winter and said, "How are you feeling Ice Prince?"

Winter smiled a bit before mockingly replying, "Oh, ha ha ha, very funny sand snout." Winter saw Qibli smile as if he was happy to hear this from Winter as he then said, "I'll take that as a yes." Winter couldn't help but adore the smile on Qibli's face for a moment, it was strangely charismatic in a way Winter couldn't describe.

Winter quickly took his eyes off Qibli and started eating his goat, if anyone saw him looking at Qibli like that back at home, he'd be sent to the bottom ranking forever. Winter couldn't help but notice Qibli giving small glances at him as they ate, as if he were making sure he was eating. Winter could feel his face turn blue, surely it was but his imagination and Qibli was simply noticing something from behind Winter.

Winter make sure he was composed, he couldn't let these strange feelings toward Qibli make him seem weak, he'd never get a high ranking and make his parents proud if they found out he was starting to have feelings for this foolish Sandwing. Winter's gaze wandered as he continued to eat, but when he finished he realized he and Qibli were looking at each other, how long they had been is unknown to Winter.

Winter quickly fixed his gaze on something else and said, "Keep your eyes to yourself, Sand snout." Qibli then smirked and said, "You were staring first Ice Prince~" His voice was teasing in a way that made Winter feel a pleasant warmth inside but he quickly replied, "I was only looking because there is nothing interesting in this room, I'll be glad to finally leave after were done eating."

Qibli laughed a bit and said, "You're one to talk about sensory, isn't the icewing kingdom just a bunch of ice and snow?" Winter scoffed and said, "No, there is far more than that, Sand snout, there's polar bears, snow foxes, seals and pine trees." Qibli smiled and said, "So, all blues and whites with a little green, doesn't sound to increasing to me."

Winter scoffed at Qibli, like he would know sensory, he grew up in the desert, he wouldn't know the secret beauty of the icewing kingdom... And Winter wouldn't know the secret beauty of the sandwing kingdom, not that he wanted to go, it was simply a interesting thought that hit him. Winter then stood up and said, "Well, I'm done, let's go find Moon."

Qibli quickly stood up and followed behind Winter as they went to go find Moon, although Winter no longer felt that strange feeling he originally felt towards Moon and he couldn't tell why.
