hello ! ok so there will be a little bit of spanish in this book but i will translate. i imagine kambri as camila cabello and her bestfriend cece as ally Brooke picture of her in the next chapter and obviously shawn mendes as himself so yeah !

kambri's pov
i am woken up by my mom as she tells me to get ready for my first day of kindergarten. i sit up slowly and giggle. my mom then tells me to stand up and she will put my dress on me and help me do my hair.

so i stand up and take off my nightgown and hold my little arms up and she slips on my pink and yellow daisy dress and then she picks me up and smiles. "my baby girl is growing up. you already look twenty!" she laughs and i giggle.
"im not twenty! im four years old" when i said four it sounded more like sore cause im not that good at saying words with f in them.

my mom then carries me to her bathroom and sat me on the counter. "can you put my pretty headband on me?" i asked and then made a face at her.

"yes sweetie" she says and then puts my pink daisy headband in and slides on my tiny pair of sandals and im ready to go.

-skipping the drive to school-

i walk in and my teacher for the year comes over to me. "hi sweetie! my name is Mrs.Sanchez and i will be your new teacher." she smiles widely. "why don't you go take a seat next to shawn." she points at a young boy with brown hair and he waves at me.

i hug my mom and she kisses my cheek and says goodbye to me. i run over to my seat at a small table that fits me perfectly since i am the smallest one in this class at the moment.

i sit down next to the boy with the brown hair who's name i can't really remember and then i say "hello, my name is kambri!" i smile and hold out my hand like my mom says to do when you meet someone.

he shakes my hand slowly "my name is shawn peter raul mendes" he says and chuckles.

from that day on i knew he was something special.

- NOW TO CURRENT DAY WHEN THEY ARE OLDER-

shawn's pov
i had just gotten up and was getting ready to go to kambri's house like i said i would yesterday. i walked into the bathroom and did my business and then put on my jeans and a black tee with a flannel over it. i fixed my hair the best i could and then brushed my teeth. i went downstairs and then started walking the two blocks it was to kambri's house.

i would drive but my mom has the car and i can't ask kambri to come get me cause she is most likely still asleep and won't be up until i wake her up.

i get on my phone and keep walking to her house. i text her to let her know im on my way and would be there soon but no answer. after that i got on Twitter and then i felt a warm surface on my face and hands. i then looked around and realized i was laying on the ground cause i must have fallen and didn't notice. i had a small bruise on my face and my phone was cracked.

great way to start a day i thought to myself. i stood up and walked to her front porch and let myself into her house.

"hello second mother" i smiled and kissed her cheek. she smiles "hi shawn. kambri isn't up yet but fell free to go wake her up"

as she said that i ran upstairs to see her asleep. so i got on her bed and started jumping up and down.

she moaned and yelled "Shawn!" and as soon as i heard that i took off running and she got up and chased me around her house.

weird way to end a chapter but her is chapter one i hope you liked it and the next chapter will be up tomorrow! sorry for the short chapter but it will be longer soon
