-TRIGGER WARNING: ATTEMPTED RAPE-

IT HAD BEEN DAYS. DAYS SINCE THE ATTACK ON THE PRISON. Josie had been wandering in the woods alone after everything. She had no idea if anyone in her group was alive, she doesn't know if Maggie, Glenn, Rick, Carl, or Parker were alive.

Even if there was a chance that they were alive, she had no way of knowing if she would ever see them again.

Josie continued walking through the woods aimlessly, searching for any signs of life. There weren't any roads that she could see, and she was hungry and thirsty.

There was rustling in the bushes behind her, so she looked over her shoulder and saw a herd of walkers making their way towards her.

"You've gotta be shitting me," Josie muttered, throwing her bow over her shoulder before she began to climb up a tree.

As soon as she was high enough, the brunette rested against a branch she was sitting on. Then Josie felt the tears, she couldn't hold it in anymore. Josie placed her hand over her mouth and let it all out, muffling her sobs so the walkers wouldn't be able to hear her.

Night soon came and Josie was lying in the tree, letting feet dangle as she laid there and stared at the stars. Josie's mind wandered to Parker, who knew where her daughter was. She just hoped that she was still with Glenn, then she thought about Rick.

She wouldn't admit it, but she did have feelings for him. Josie wished she had told him sooner, but now she was afraid it was too late.

The brunette then heard branches snapping, so she sat up and pulled her legs back. Josie drew an arrow, placing it in her bow as she poked her head out and saw a man walking.

Josie aimed the bow, getting ready to release the arrow before another man appeared behind him. The brunette lowered her weapon, hiding into the tree as her eyes followed the two men.

Then more followed after them. She counted at least six, she knew she couldn't do anything against them, so she let them pass.

"Dude, I'm telling you," one of the men said. "I claimed it first."

"If you claimed it first, then why am I holding it?" the other man retorted, holding up the squirrel with a victorious smile.

"Can you guys focus?" the man leading them asked, looking over his shoulder.

"Jeez, whatever," he replied. "Does anyone know where Daryl wandered off to?"

Josie perked up at that name as the group of men continued walking. It definitely could've been a different Daryl, but she couldn't ignore it if it wasn't.

The brunette quickly, but quietly climbed down the tree and caught up to the men, keeping her distance and hiding behind trees in case they had turned around and spotted her.

As Josie went to hide behind another tree, a twig snapped from behind her and she turned around. She wasn't able to do anything, because the man grabbed her and put a gun to her head.

"Look at this, y'all," he said. "This little bitch was following us."

The men stopped, turning to see what he was talking about. Some of the men smiled, sharing evil looks with each other. That made Josie's skin crawl.
