XO, Kitty (Season 3) [Complete]

Episode 21: Thanksgiving Break

I can't believe finals is already nearing. So much has happened ever since Haru kissed me that day and up to now. You'd think...well I thought, my life would be much more calm but apparently not. Basically, what happened was --

"Hey Kitty, are you ready to go?"

"Yeah babe." Closing her journal, Kitty placed it inside of her backpack and locked hands with Minho as he pushed both of their carryons in his vacant hand. It was currently Thanksgiving break for Kitty and Minho as they both filed for it. It was normal for international students to file for a week off for the holidays and the college respected that.

So Kitty and Minho were flying home for the week to see not only Kitty's family but also Minho's mom who was invited by the Covey's to join their festivities. Minho continuously claimed to the world that his mom won't show up due to her busy schedule and even though he kept saying it, internally he was hoping she would be there. So did Kitty for Minho's sake.

"I see you two lovebirds are about to go and elope." Q joked as they made their way down the stairs. Minho was grinning whereas Kitty choked on nothing. "Kidding, Kitty. Anyways, you two be safe and text me when you land. I'll see you when you get back."

"Try not to miss us too much." Kitty teased as she hugged her best friend. Minho followed suit and the pair left campus.

Sitting on the plane together, it felt nostalgic. Especially since they purposely chose the exact same seats from when it all started. Kitty looked to Minho who was messaging his mom and she did the same with her sisters.

Kitty: On the plane now and I'll let you guys know when I land!! 

LJ: AHHH!!! I can't wait to see you again 🤩❤️

Margot: Hope you have a safe flight lil sis! See you soon❤️

Kitty: 😘🫶🏻

"Are you ready?" Minho squeezed her knee gaining her attention. 

"Of course I am. Are you?"

"I'm always ready as long as I'm with you baby." Kitty had to hold back a laugh at how adorable and cheesy he was.

"Kitty!" Lara Jean screamed as the front door opened, deafening everyone near her. Jumping her sister for a hug, Margot followed and the three sisters hugged each other. 

"Hey Minho, what's up man?" Minho got caught in the ambush so he stood behind the group of girls who were blocking his way. Sheepishly smiling he squeezed his way through to greet Dan and Peter.

"How was the flight?" Dan pulled Minho into a hug and patted his back. At first Minho was uncomfortable with the hugs but he grew to love them, seeing how he lacked in the loving paternal department. 

"It was good Mr. Cov --"

"I've already said, call me Dan."

"Dan," Minho smiled with ease, "it was good. Although, Kitty slept practically the whole time. I had to cover her mouth at some point because she was snoring so loud." The three men laughed gaining the girls attention.

"Minho --"

"Nothing babe, it's nothing." Kitty was glaring at him then turned to confusion as she looked around the room. "Where is Trina?"

"Oh she had an emergency at work so she'll back right after she's done." Dan filled them in and they all gathered in the living room. Kitty and Minho began to tell of all the fun stories, excluding the drama, and they were pleased to hear the school year was good.

"Alright you two, I'm sure you're tired from the long flight so go up and rest. Then we'll call you down for dinner." Dan said as he stood and they all followed. Minho took his and Kitty's suitcase upstairs -- Kitty's in her room and Minho's in the guest bedroom which used to be Lara Jean's room. Since Lara Jean and Peter moved into a house Dan and Trina converted both of the girl's room into guest bedrooms, except for Kitty's.

"Are you going to take a nap?" Kitty asked before Minho left her room. "Yeah babe, I'm pretty tired. I'm guessing you're not going to take a nap?"

"No, I'm wide awake since I slept most of the flight."

"I can stay up with you."

"No it's okay --"

"Yeah we'll keep her company Minho. You go take a nap." Margot said as she and Lara Jean came up the stairs.

"Alright then, well goodnight love." Minho kissed her cheek and went to the guest bedroom next door.

Lara Jean pushed Kitty into her room and closed the door, "What's going on?" Kitty looked between her sisters who had a teasing look on their face.

"Alright you told us all the boring stuff that happened, now tell us the juicy drama that happened."

Of course, they know me so well that my life would NOT be drama-free.

"Oh my god Kitty." Was all Lara Jean could say after Kitty told everything from the argument to Haru."

"How is it that you always end in up some sort of trouble?" Margot shook her head with an uneasy smile, in disbelief that so much could happen to her sister and the school year wasn't over yet.

"I wonder that same thing," falling back on her bed to lay down, "I just wanted a regular freshman year with my friends and boyfriend. But I guess cupid had a different plan for me."

"Life never goes the way you planned honey. What matters in the end are those who stuck through it with you." Margot spoke, Lara Jean looked to her and Kitty had to prop herself up on her elbows.

"Well what's gotten into you Ms. Poetic?" Lara Jean asked, hoping something did happen for her sister -- in the romantic way of course.

"Nothing," Margot looked to them who didn't believe it, "alright maybe something did." Jaws were dropped and Kitty immediately sat up and sat next to Lara Jean, as if the two were about to be told the greatest story ever.

"Spill Margot! You can't leave us in the dark."

"Alright, alright." Margot tried to contain her smile but it slipped, confirming both Kitty's and Lara Jean's suspicions that Margot met someone.

"So his name is -- "

"Knock, knock girls. Dinner is ready!"

"No!"

"Why!" Lara Jean and Kitty screamed simultaneously causing poor Peter to stand at the door scared for his life as two pillows were thrown at him. "I'm just the messenger boy!" Somehow, more pillows were thrown at him and Kitty had to wonder where all the pillows came from.

Ep 21 done~ OMG I can't believe that we're at 50k reads of XO, Kitty (Season 2) 🥹🥹🥹.  And I am so sorry for the late update😭 things happened and just got work and all, but as always I still do my best to update!! I have been working on this chapter for awhile just trying to see where it goes but luckily, I got an idea so I got to finish this chapter!
