Chapter 20: Pre-Date Stuff

Once I step into my area the feeling of joy over comes me as I grab a towel and my pajamas. I then say, "hey Austin I'm going to the bathroom to take my shower so stop prepping for just a second." I hear hurried feet as he then comes into my area, "here put this on," he says as he holds out my bandanna. "Oh so you want me to put on a blind fold?" He nods, "please because what I have done so far is pretty noticeable." I laugh, "fine, but your gonna have to guide me to the bathroom, because I don't trust myself to get there without knocking into something." He laugh, "well of course only for my date." He smiles as I slowly bring my bandanna up to my eyes and submerge myself in darkness.

I can't see anything as I feel him grab my hand. "Don't worry Darius I grabbed your clothes from the bed just follow me." I nod then procceed to follow him as he gingerly holds my hand. After a brief moment of him guiding me I hear the door close, "alright we are in the bathroom, you can remove your blindfold now." I smile as I untie the bandanna and allow it to fall from my eyes. I'm a bit shocked to see Austin standing in front of me with my clothes in one paw and in the other he holds a rose out to me. I blush madly as I take the delicate red flower and take a sniff of it's scent, "thank you." He smiles, "no problem I thought you may like it, and it adds a little flare to our date." I nod as he then goes to the door, "so take your time in here I'll be done setting up in just a few, then I'll jump in the shower to." I nod, "alright just don't keep me waiting to long." I say with a wink and a smile as he then walks out the door careful not to open the door to wide.

Once Austin leaves I take off my shirt and my pants, then wrap my towel around me waist before jimming out of my underwear. I know no one else is in here but I do know that the first time I'm not careful undressing will be the first time someone walks in on me being naked, and I really don't wanna have that embarrassment on my shoulders. Anywho I then set my clothes out on the counter beside the sink, and get into the shower stall. When I close the door behind me that's when I drop my towel and drape it over the stall door. I turn on the faucet and feel the warm water hit my fur. My smile is immediate at the feeling of all of the sweat and grime from today's training coming out of my fur. Once I have got all of my fur wet I then grab some of my shampoo, but before I can squirt any in my paws the door to the bathroom opens.

"Hey Darius everything is set up, so I jumping in the shower. When your done if you don't mind to wait for me." I chuckle, "sure." I hear him chuckle a little, "I promise it won't take but a moment." I continue to chuckle as I respond, "hey your all good I'm just bascking in the feeling of hot water in my fur right now." He chuckled a bit more, "yeah I bet this is just what the doctor ordered, a hot shower then a date with a cute guy." I smile, "I completely agree with that." I then hear him enter the stall beside mine, and shortly after the water is going, so I go back to washing my fur with my shampoo.

Once I've finished rinsing off I turn off my water and grab my towel. I then start dabing my fur till it's just a bit damp then turn on my shower dryer, so my fur gets completely dry. Typically I don't like doing this because fur always becomes a bushy fluffy mess, but I don't want damp fur on my first date with Austin. Once I feel my fur is dry I wrap my towel around my waist once again. "Hey Austin, I'm putting on my clothes." His water shuts off, "wow I was right on time, I was just about to dry off." I snicker, "alrighty then." I then pick up my pajamas pants and put each foot in and carefully slide them on under the towel, but of course my bushy tail gets in the way. "Ugh, this is exactly why I hate blow drying my fur." I whisper to myself as I struggle to slide my tail through the tail slit in my pajamas pants. Eventually I get it and I finally remove my towel and look in the mirror. As I predicted my fur looks a bushy mess so I grab my brush and begin taming the beast that is my fur.

While I brush my fur the fans stop in Austin's stall, and the door begins to open. As expected a half naked Austin walks out. He smirks at me, "well hello there." I smile, "hello there." He laugh as he grabs his pajama pants, "so your fur don't like the blow dryer?" I shake my head, "yeah I knew it was gonna do this but I didn't want wet hair on our little date." He nods, "understandable." Once I have my fur the way I want it I pull on my shirt and Austin does the same. He then looks at me, "so you ready for your surprise?" I nod, "I sure am." He smiles as he opens the door and the first thing I see is a trail of rose petals leading to a little blanket fort that is where our couch was.

I smile, "wow this is so cute." He laughs, "well I'd hoped you liked it." I nod as he then holds out his paws as he then slowly and gently pulls me to the blanket fort. He pulls back one of the blankets and reveals both of our mattress laying on the floor with a projector pointed right above our heads. "Oh my deities Austin this is so amazing." He smiles, "I even popped some popcorn, picked out a movie, and got some drinks." He then sits down on his bed, "gonna join me?" I nod then sit beside him on my mattress. "This is perfect Austin." He smiles brightly, "good I thought it was a bit to cheesy at first." I shake my head, "no not at all it's actually very sweet." He then clicks a button on the projector, "I hope you like the movie." I nod then look up as the movie begins.
