"Very well Daemon, you and Lilly are close are you not" She asked making a small smile come across his face

"is a two-faced cunt that deserves a painful and slow death" Laena cut him off smirking making him laugh and nod
"yes exactly that, you two are close I mean she named her daughter after you" Daemon acknowledged admiring her as a soft and happy smile graced her face

"thank you for being a true friend to her" Daemon whispered making her nod
"I know who it was" Joffrey whispered to Laenor as they stood off to the side watching as everyone danced

"Ser Criston Cole" Joffrey answered
"Her sworn protector?" Laenor countered looking shocked as he looked at the dornish knight that stood on the other side of the dance floor
"I mean it would be easy, but I can't help but notice the certain looks he keeps giving the queen he can't keep his eyes off her" Joffrey mused
"Those are treacherous words Joffrey to insinuate the queen is not faithful to the king" Laenor snapped looking around them in hopes they were not heard
" I am just saying I believe Ser Criston has bloodied that white cloak of his with your bride's maidenhood or perhaps our queen's sins"
"Keep your voice down" Laenor snapped once again making the man hold his hands up in defence
"you seem at a loss of words my prince" Laena teased as they stopped dancing "Your beauty is distracting my lady," Daemon said making her bite her lip to hide her smile
"Perhaps you should take a break your old age is catching up find me when you wish for another dance" she teased running her finger down his chest before walking off leaving the rouge prince in awe as he chuckled
"This is a good thing she knows your secret and now you know hers and maybe even the queens," Joffrey told Laenor who rolled his eyes
"the queen is a kind girl Joffrey who has been abandoned and forced to go through hell enough of this" Laenor begged making him nod and walk off
Lilly stood next to Rhaenys watching Daemon and Laena "Perhaps there will be another union princess" she commented making Rhaenys chuckle and scoff
"gods help me if Daemon were to marry my daughter" she muttered making Lillian scoff
"Perhaps you should watch your words, princess, as it was Your husband and your own plan to marry your daughter to the king when she was only ten and two believe me when I tell you this Daemon is the better man between the two and would kill and die for those he loves," Lillian said before walking away cradling her stomach catching sight of Alicent dancing with a knight as Rhaenyra danced with Ser Harwin strong looking happy making her smile before it dropped
"They make a great pair don't you think?"
"What?" Criston questioned turning to Joffrey who had just approached him
"Well the princess and Ser Laenor," Joffrey told him smugly "Ser Jofrrey Lonmouth or the Knight of Kisses they call me though I don't know why" he introduced himself
"I'm on watch What's your business?" Criston demanded
"You don't know mw Ser Criston But we are both deeply invested in this union"
"If you have something to say Ser Joffrey speak it" Criston snapped getting agitated with the knight
"Ser Laenor is quite dear to me. As I know the princess is to you. We should swear to each other to guard them and their secrets because if those are kept safe then so are we all" Joffrey told him
"May I ser Harwin?" Daemon asked stepping to the knight and Rhaenyra
"Of course my prince" he replied letting the rouge prince take his place and walking away into the crowd
Daemon grabbed her hand pulling her closer "Is this what you want?" he asked quietly
"I was not aware that what I wanted mattered" Rhaenyra countered making him scoff
"You are the princess and now the king's heir you will be married to a man who will respect you and your choices yet you complain" he grumbled making her glare at him
"I am being stuck in a loveless marriage with a man who will never desire me" Rhanenyra snapped making him grab her arm turning her so she looked at the royal table

You lied to her and swore on your mother and she was punished for it" He snapped
"she was the one to leave she threw our friendship away not me or Alicent" She whispered tearing up
"no, you did you and that friend of yours you called her a whore for being raped and sold by her father and yours she is a child she is only ten and four you are nearly twenty she gave up everything to protect her sister and you, only for you two to walk away you looked at her and called her a whore Rhaenyra when your the one that fucked your guard because I didn't fuck you in that whore house"

"There is no care there was but not anymore I should have never brought you to that whore house it was wrong of me and I am sorry for that but you made your choices after I brought you back to the castle you have made your bed and now you must lay in it good luck to your marriage princess," He said before walking away leaving her to her anger and sadness
