Sokka POV:
Its been two days since the merky bandit encounter. And not much has happened since. Just recon and thats all. No new big leads. Nothing new. And im pretty sure the bandit stole one of my socks. ONE! Who the hell takes just one sock? But thats besides the point. We may of found something. Something that may take us to a straight course towards the leader of the ember nationalists. And it feels like I'm the only one whos excited? But then again everyone has been acting off. Not much. But slight. Probobly because of the whole situation right now. And dont get me started on that alchoholic. I swear Zuko has been getting on my nerves. Even when I try to not get annoyed. He manages to infiriate me. I have been hiding it for a while now. I just hope he can do better now. Less he becomes the next jerklord Ozai.

"Please tell me you or someone found something Suki..." I say crashing onto her bed back first. My face staring at the ceiling. Suki who is sitting on the edge of the bed runs her fingers through my hair. "Sorry. I didnt find anything, Honey. But." Suki releases her fingers from my hair and points one at me. Her voice being more dominant as she said 'but'. "Why did you stay behind? You knew what Katara said about being alone here!" Suki scolded pinching my hair slightly

I stare at her finger before lazily slouching again with a heavy sigh. "I need to find her. We only have so much time ya know. When Katara said that we should go back here... I just felt like it was too soon." I say.

That was back in the noon. Around 6PM. Now its 10PM. Suki puts her hand on my head again. "Hey. Dont overwork yourself. We'll find her and put her to justice. It'll all be fine." She rrassures me. I smile at her and lift myself up. Now sitting next to her. "I know. Just gotta double check... then triple check. Then quadruple. Then-" I mummble.

"Speekin of checkings. Let me check up on, mi lady. How was it with Toph?" I ask placing my fingers in her hair then twirling it playfully.. Suki smiles. "Oh. Well you know how Toph is. But nothing happened. We-well I saw a crewd grafiti of the ember nationalists. But thats all."

"Ok so nothin Man I dont think I've talked to Toph that much... She has only been hanging out with Aang now." I mention. "Really?" Suki asks. Her tone hightening with curiosity. As she spoke. "Yheah. You know if Aang wasnt with Katara I'd think that-" I stop mid sentance, wondering if I should even finish that sentance.

"Go on." Suki nudges me. "No. No it was stupid anyways. I was just gonna say if Aang wasnt dating my sister, I'd think that they might be like eachother. More then friends." I say looking towards Suki, she contimplates what to say. A good three seconds pass then she speaks out.

"Im gonna say something. Thats gonna be rsally stupid but just hear me out." Suki asks. I just nod.

"Whats stopping them now from catching feelings? You know love is blind." Suki giggled slightly at he joke against Toph. But I didnt laugh I just wanted her to finish. She sbrugged and finjshed her idea. "Im just saying anything could happen."

Her words hit me like a boulder. Hell dazed me like I got hit with one too. "Naw. That wont happen. Aang and Toph are solid anyways." Alyhough I put on a smile and waved my hands dismisivley as I say that. A sense of unease swelled my body.

Katara did say that she was getting jelous of Aang and Toph back at the palace a few weeks ago. Matter a fact. Theyve been so close recently. And the thought of Aang breaking my dear sisters heart so he can date another girl. Who happens to be one of my best friends. Angered me almost as much as it made me uncomfortable. I know it wouldnt happen. But if it did happen. There will be a water tribe avatar sooner them one would expect. Or for Aang. Hoped.

"So Anyways."

"*Anyway." Suki corrected me. Poking her finger at my nose. I sigh at her interuption. "Any word about Aang and... Zuko. There back now right?" I ask. My voice sounding agitated as I utter Zuko's name.
