"Stella are you SERIOUS?! Why didn't you tell me that mystery guy was the hot lead singer of The 1975?" Stephanie said

"Listen, I didn't know okay? We talked for like three minutes but he was the one doing all the talking." I said with a frown

"Stell, babe, you have to stop being so shy! I know it might be hard but you have to learn how to open up! Especially when a guy as hot as him talks.

I didn't expect to like their music as much as I did. The whole entire time they played Stephanie and I were dancing and jumping around together.

After about 45 minutes the band was done. I really wanted to go and find Matty to tell him he did a good job but as soon as the boys got off the stage it seems like every single girl that was at the park rushed over to them.

A large variety of them going to Matty of course. Girls were all over him and him being a typical boy was all over the girls as well.

Some would ask for kisses which I thought was a little over board. I mean yeah, these boys were good but it's not like they met a REAL rock star legend like Kurt Cobain or something?

After the girls died down, there was only about three girls left with the band but they were talking to the rest of the band mates while Matty was smoking a cigarette.

I decided that this was my time to go and talk to him. So before I could second guess myself, I walked over to wear he was.

"Oh hello again love." Matty said blowing smoke out of his mouth

"Hi Matty. Listen I know I was really quiet and awkward when you talked to me earlier but I just want to say that I thought it was sweet what you had said to me. And you never told me you were in a band?! But your band was lovely I really enjoyed watching you guys' perform your music is unique and awesome." I say out of breath

I didn't realize how long and how much I just blabbered on about to Matty until he started laughing and told me I slow down.

"For a shy quiet girl you sure did say a lot." he said laughing

"I'm sorry, I am really shy, but when I talk I just say it all at once before I have time to second guess it and not say it." I said as my cheeks began to heat up

"Ahhh but when your cheeks do that" he said stepping closer to me

"I don't even care what comes out of your mouth at the moment."

I couldn't help but smile and blush even more.

"Why are you so infatuated with my rosy cheeks?" I asked

"Because I like to know that I'M the one that's doing it to you. I'M the one making you get nervous or shy. And the pinkness in your cheeks makes you look even more beautiful than you already are." He says biting down on his bottom lip

In that moment I swear he was leaning in to kiss me and I was way more than okay with that. But like always something has to come up in my life and ruin the perfect moment!!! Stephanie somehow found us.

"Stella!! I've been looking all over for you!" she says grabbing me aside a bit

"And are you finally going to introduce me to this mystery guy?" she whispered with hopeful eyes

Part of me would totally introduce Stephanie to Matty. But the other part of me was scared. Like I said before, Stephanie has always found a way to snatch a guy I had a crush on from me so that they would fall for her.

She didn't always do this on purpose. One time she did, but I'd rather not get into that.

"Oh yeah um Stephanie this is Matty, Matty this is my friend Stephanie."
