"BZZZ BZZZ BZZZ"

I opened my eyes to the loud buzzing noise coming from nearby. My phone was going off. Before looking to see who was calling me, I took a second to take in my surroundings.

I was in a flat his flat. And I was in arms his arms. I really didn't want to spend the night but I guess I was extremely tired from staying up all night to finish my paper that I just knocked out. Of course Matty had wanted me to stay in the first place so he didn't bother waking me up to go home.

I quickly checked my phone and Stephanie was calling.

"Hello?" I say, clearing my throat.

"Where the hell are you?" Stephanie says sounding worried

"Uhh I sort of slept over at Matty's house. He was helping me with my essay for Green's class and I sort of just fell asleep."

"Oh... Well I was going to see if you wanted to maybe go out to breakfast but never mind, I guess you have more important things to do." she says hanging up

"What the fuck?" I thought to myself

I could tell Stephanie was mad that I stayed the night at Matty's. Steph was used to getting any guy she wanted, and by the look of things at the show the other night, she definitely wanted Matty but I guess he took a liking to me and she hated that.

I tried stretching my legs since I was still all wrapped in Matty. I tried getting out of his arms to get up and fully stretch since sleeping on this tiny couch didn't go too well on my body.
I was scooting slowly so that I wouldn't wake Matty. Just I was sure I was out of his arms I felt my back no longer on the couch. It took me a moment to process what was happening an before I could stop it I was already off of the couch.

*THUD*

By this time Matty was up dice me falling off of the couch made a loud ass noise.

"Nice Stell, you tried getting up quietly but managed to shake the whole entire flat by falling on your ass." I thought to myself

"Well hello there love." Matty says laughing 
"I assume you fell off whilst sleeping?" he asks, his voice still full of rasp from sleeping

"Haha no, I was actually trying to get up because my whole body started aching from this couch." I say biting my lip

"Well I'm sure I can make your body feel good again." he says pulling me so I was no on top of him on the couch

"Mattyyy this is gross, I'm gross, neither of us have even brushed our teeth yet." I say giggling

"You're not gross Stella, you're lovely. You could be filthy and never shower or anything but I would still want you on top of me with your tongue in my mouth like this." he said taking a strand of my hair and placing it behind my ear.

My throat felt all weird and my stomach dropped. Fuck. I knew this meant I was starting to like him. I quickly kissed him and then got off of the couch.

"I should probably get going, Stephanie was a bit angry when she found out I spent the night here." I said putting my shoes on

"Why it's not like we did anything." Matty chuckles

"Yeah I know but still, Steph had a thing for you and still probably does. She's used to getting every guy she wants so the fact that you like me makes her jealous." I say

"Who said anything about me liking you?" Matty says throwing a couch pillow at me

"Hey!" I said as it hit my face
"And I can tell by the things you do and that little thing you said to me over there on the couch." I say throwing it back
