There was chaos in the city as Kara flew around trying to stop the LexCorp's robots that were attacking the city. Kara knew Lena was up to no good but she didn't know Lena would go this far.
Kara grabbed a robot and ripped it apart then continued flying around trying to destroy them. She was about to face off again a large group of the robots until she heard a familiar voice.
"Need some help!" said Clark
"Could've been here earlier" said Kara
"Well, at least I'm here" said Clark
Kara and Clark flew at the army of robots and used their heat vision to split them apart. There was still a lot left and they decided to try and fly straight through them. When they flew through, they left a couple of robots and went to finish them off.
"So what'd you do to make Lena this mad" asked Clark
"I don't know, but it's probably because I keep stopping her men from stealing the resources she needs" said Kara
"Well, that is a pretty Luthor thing to do" said Clark
"Why doesn't she just buy the resources" asked Kara
"She's greedy and cheap so she doesn't like spending her money" said Clark
Later that day, Kara was taking a walk to clear her head and think about how she was going to stop Lena. While she was walking she walked past the LexCorp building and saw that they were building something in the middle of the tower.
She decided not to take a look at it since she thought she had already prevented Lena from getting the resources she needed.
When Kara got home, she went up to her room to put her suit away and while she folded her suit she saw her neighbors setting off fireworks.
When she put her suit in the closet she looked back at her mirror then saw a purple flash of light come from her window. Since her neighbors were setting off fireworks, she didn't think much of it and went downstairs to eat dinner.
She saw that her mom made shrimp quesadillas and said
"Since when could you make shrimp quesadillas mom"
"Since last week. I've just been watching a lot of cooking shows that's all" said Mrs Danvers
"Well they look fantastic" said Kara
While Kara and the Danvers ate, she couldn't help notice the bright purple flashes of light that flooded in from outside. When they were all done eating Alex walked up to Kara and said
"I know you saw those lights to"
"I did, but I think it just the neighbors and there fireworks" said Kara
"Fireworks make noise Kara, and you have super hearing" said Alex
"Well, I saw it earlier and it was just some fireworks" said Kara
"And this time, they didn't make noise" said Alex
"You're right, something might me happening" said Kara
"So we're just gonna skip the fact that you thought fireworks didn't make sound" said Alex
"I'm tired okay I'm just gonna check it out tomorrow" said Kara
"Alright, but I think Lena has that power source ready" said Alex
"She can't, I stopped her from getting the stuff she needed" said Kara
"Well what about the robots this morning" said Alex
"What about them" said Kara
"You said you kept stopping her men from stealing the resources, so the robots could've been a distraction" said Alex
"How though, I flew every where while trying to stop them, I would've seen them" said Kara
"But you weren't looking for them you were looking for the robots" said Alex
"Alright, I'll admit I was too distracted with the robots" said Kara
"So now Lena has her power source" said Alex
"And, she said it would help the world" said Kara
"Okay, we'll talk about this tomorrow because you're clearly tired and not thinking straight" said Alex
Both of them went up to their rooms and Kara got into her bed and picked up her phone. She saw a post with a headline that read:
"Mysterious Purple light flashes happening across National City"
"So Alex was right"
Thought Kara. Kara put down her phone and eventually fell asleep.
The next morning, Kara was woke up to Alex repeatedly staying her name.
"Kara, Kara Wake up. Kara!" said Alex
"What, I'm up okay" said Kara
"Look outside" said Alex
"What the fuck is that" said Kara with her eyebrows raised
