I am meeting up with Phelo she's going to fetch me. I wear a black crop top and leggings with putty mauve Adidas adilette slides. I hate carrying bags, so I just take my lip therapy, keys, and phone.Phelo calls telling me she's outside. I lock my apartment and make my way to her car.
"Friend, I haven't seen you in a while," I say, getting in. " I feel bad, you went through a break and I was there I'm sorry " she has a guilty face " it's fine yho drive friend soba late " I smile at her "Ave unjalo ke" she drives to town. She packs in front of some salon. I normally do house calls. Salons are just full of drama and gossip. I don't like them. "They're the best in town chomi trust me," Phelo says as we make our way inside it is not full I sigh in relief two ladies come to us and usher us to our seats I decided to do curly fulani braids Phelo chooses knotless braids.
"Hello, hello!" A girl says, getting inside the salon arg. I hate noisy people. I pay no attention to her
"Aybo oe I saw you yesterday with your at Pavillion mall are you back together" one of the hairdressers say "listen ngasho ukuthi sohlukanisa ukufa"[till death do us apart] she says laughing like a pig "kodwa oe besengizosho ukuthi uyislima phela hunk leya"[but I was going to say that you are an idiot] "Don't worry Qophelo will always be my man" the minute she said Qophelo I quickly turned to look at her hebanna she's the girl I saw at Spur with Qophelo my heart sank "sisi turn your head I want to finish what I'm doing" says the lady doing my hair "kukhona utikilani ubezama ukumthatha ngambuka wahluleka imina kephela engikwazi ukumelana naye"[someone is trying to take him, I looked at him and he failed, I'm the only one who can resist him] she say with a smirk looking at me I guess she knows me I no longer want to be if it was up to me I would just up and leave without finishing my hair.after a long time, we finally finished doing our hair. I was getting tired of hearing Qophelo's girlfriend flaunting about how Qophelo treats her like a queen. I even felt like telling her that he treats us the same she must stop praising nothing . Yes, that's jealousy speaking, but do you blame? I mean, I haven't healed.
